The coolest thing on this product was the ball joint that it has so that your phone attachment magnet can move 360° all around so it's very very adjustable the small pad that sticks to your dash was also cool because it gave me the flexibility of putting it just about everywhere anywhere and I have a lot of nooks and crannies but no real big flat area on the face of my Dash so it was very good that its footprint was so small about the only thing I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the glue holds more than the 30 day warranty and I think I even gave you an extra sticker pad just in case it does come loose once so for the price I think I only paid 899 this was really a very very very satisfied product for what I intended to use it for in the magnet and the instructions were very very good for all different types of applications on your phone with you have a cover or not what to do so it doesn't stick to your phone permanently just just a great hundred I don't want to give this a six star review if I could like I said the only thing is how long is it going to stick on the dash but that's typical of anything you get that's 6 on your car dash so like I said to the versatility really really happy with this product!

I bought two of those other big name "plastic" magnetic car phone holders with the really thin neck connecting the captive ball. Guess what,... they vibrate a lot under the weight of the phone and break there every time. I spend part of the year in the hot South West and that probably weakens the plastic, so never again.This all metal one should solve that problem once and for all. I was hesitant about the smallish dimensions as the round magnet is relatively small and the adhesive foot isn't that big either, but this unit holds a S9 with a Pelican case great, and with much less vibration, and its head doesn't work loose either. I'm very happy with it.The only issue I had was the metal foot is entirely flat with one straight bend, and my Japanese SUV doesn't have one flat spot on the entire dash! I solved that by placing the foot in my vice and giving it a slight bend. That is working well and the adhesive provided is holding just fine. Make sure you clean your dash well before installing the unit and wait 2 full days for the adhesive to thoroughly cure before attaching your phone and you will be golden.

I really wanted to like this mount. It has a strong magnet and has no trouble holding my phone. The problem is getting the mount to adhere to my dash. I’ve used others and had no problem with it sticking but this one would JUST NOT STICK. I cleaned the spot very well and followed all instructions. Once I installed it I did not put my phone on it. The following morning the mount was on the floor of my car. I cleaned my dash again and remounted it with the additional adhesive strip supplied. This time it stayed and I mounted my phone on it 48 hours later. The day after that my mount was on my floorboard again. I’ve NEVER had this problem with other mounts. I like this one because it’s metal and low profile. My only options now are to either superglue it to my dash or get a different mount. I’m very disappointed, it wasn’t even hot out when I tried to stick it to my dash.Edit: okay, I tried super glue and that didn’t work either. I changed the location in my car to something hard plastic rather than my squishy dashboard. Worked well. So, select it’s location carefully.

sooo I lov this lil thing, i put mine on the windshield, Which i i read another person did this in a righteous review soo i tried it, and it works great, i do not have any tint on my windshield, yeah i know most hav a stripe at the top, mine does not, i live in the south and drive several hours a day into the sun on many recent 90-100 degree days, in addition my phone mounts through a case and i do not have any complaints at all...no over heating issues from mounting it on the windshield (although i can see how this could be a problem, but thats what you would get for putting your phone in the sun for hours) the adhesive is exceptional thus far and this thing looks slick and minimal in size...i will buy for gifts and if needed would buy again ! Great little gadget

I love this small and tiny holder. The quality of the holder is superb as it is made of solid metal. This is no vibration none whatsoever. I wish I could install this on my lexus gx though. That car has a curved dashboard and this base does requires a flat surface for it to work. I position this holder in such a way the edge of my phone sits on the dash ro give it more support. I have a iphone 7 plus which is rather heavy for most mounts to handle. I went through 5 holders before I stumble on this. I am not sure why it is not listed as Amazon’s choice. The only wish I have is that the base can stick on a slight curved dashboard so I can Get it for my lexus.
