Under Armour Men's HeatGear Sonic Fitted Short Sleeve

The description clearly states it's "fitted", so I knew it was going to be snug. A size Large is perfectly fitted to my 5-11", 180 lbs., 34" waist. If you like something a little looser but like this style, an XL is for you.

This shirt is great for workout or even casual wear; they are soft, breathable, and light, making them very comfortable to wear. However, the fit is not the greatest. As compared to the "Under Armour Men's HeatGear® Fitted Short Sleeve Crew", which had fantastic fit (at least for me), the sleeves of the "Under Armour Men's HeatGear® Sonic Fitted Short Sleeve" shirt have a much larger circumference (this is also apparent in the pictures shown on the Amazon website). Thus, for this shirt, the sleeves do not hug around my arms as expected. I do not know why the standards/measurements are different between the two shirts, even though they are both classified as the same fit ("fitted"). I think the measurements should be standardised for shirts which are found within the same fit-range.

This shirt is for those who don't mind every little bulge - the good and the bad - showing up clearly. It's very well made, though a good number of washings will tell the long-term story on durability. Fit-wise, these are specifically tailored for V-shape, toned men. The XL size I ordered seems very accurate. If you're not there yet, and you are still carrying a spare tire, it will show up in this shirt like nothing else can. I have tried to find a reasonably-priced, longer-bodied cotton t-shirt that is fitted for V-shaped men, but the closest I've come is DIckies. This shirt is not as long as you might want if you're tall, but it still covers the waistline. Above all, it's fitted like a second skin. On delivery, it was promise about two months after ordering, but I received in less than two weeks. I would re-order, keeping in mind that forty-one dollars for a shirt is a premium price, even on Amazon.

I buy several of these a year. lets face it most synthetics get beat up and get hard to clean after 12-24 months of use. I found extended hikes (60-100 miles) does something to synthetics that makes it hard to remove the odors.So why is this important? Synthetics are better against your skin when you are going to be sweating and possibly rain and need to stay cool and dry. Cotton will stay wet. also for hiking Synthetics are lighter and take less space.I use to buy these at a large national sporting good chain and found them to bet a lot more expenses like $24.99 each!!so I get the same great quality and feel (I prefer UA vs the neclkline of the other major brands) at a lower price and free shipping with Prime.

My husband loves UA shirts. We've found that he likes the XL when the shirt is "fitted" and L when the shirt is "regular". That's until he gets his "six pack", he says! (He's 6'1", 175 lbs, lost 40 lbs 2 years ago and works out regularly so he doesn't have the love handles to be hidden with a larger shirt.) He could wear the smaller size now but for comfort, we'll size up. Material is great, they wash nice and dry well before any shirt in the dryer. Loved the blue with the neon green contrast ... sharp!

Nice color and trim but comfortable fit. I am 6' , 183 lbs with a 34" waste. If you are bigger than me, go XL.

This was a xmas present for my sweety. This shirt fits beautifuly. The stitching on the shoulders brings attention to his arms/shoulders which narrows his waist and makes him look really good. Not many shirts can do that on a 61 yr old man. :)) It washes nicely, doesn't wrinkle, has a nice hand and is an overall great shirt. If this ever wears out it will definitely be replaced. : )

I own 7-8 of these shirts and they're the best workout shirts I've ever owned. They do a nice job of accentuating your shoulders and fit perfectly on my arms (not so tight they constrict blood flow but tight enough to show off your arms when you get a pump). I don't think there's a better workout shirt on the market. Oh, and they breathe really well, too.

Would be a great shirt if the collar didn't chafe so much. It feels like it's choking me and running in it just makesthe chafing worse. Wish I could return it.

These fit pretty nice fresh out of the package, but with any type of wear become uncomfortable.

I do not have the 6 pack required for this shirt. It was a bit smaller than I thought it would be but I love the color so I put up with it.
