Solid protein bar
These are a good solid protein bar 30 grams of protein for only 150 calories. The flavor is good. So convenient to have on hand for a quick meal replacement with some fruit. I keep mine in the fridge because it has been so hot this summer

David, I love you.
If you like protein bars, you will love these. Even if you hate protein bars, you will still love these—take it from me.It's a tall order to make a healthy, no sugar, high-protein bar that actually tastes good—and something David has perfected with these bars. I don’t usually buy protein bars because in the past, I've been put off by the artificial taste or chalky disgusting-ness of other brands. On a whim I decided to give protein bars one last shot and try David. I was BLOWN. AWAY.The texture of the David bars is soft and chewy and was not at all hard, dry, or chalky. The fudge brownie flavor is rich and actually tastes like a treat rather than a typical protein bar (which can sometimes taste mealy). It’s also really filling, which made it a great snack when I needed something quick—this was one of the biggest pros for me because it's only 150 calories. I have no idea how they fit 28 grams of protein into this! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I’ll definitely be getting more.Overall awesome product David! Keep up the good work.

High protein and low calorie…tastes great!
Love these for test, texture, and the protein/calorie ratio. Also low in fat, but most importantly low in saturated fat. I appreciate that they ship in cold packs! These bars are more expensive than other protein bars, but for a reason. Willing to pay extra for these.

The EPG fat can cause stomach upset since its fat that is only partially absorbed.
I have tried these bars a few times and in a few flavors. I was initially excited as the initial receipe was high protein and did not have artificial sweetners or sugar alcohols. But they did change the formula so now it has all three --malitol, sucrose and Acesulfame Potassium. My GI system does not tolerate sugar alcohols well, so I try to avoid. But the worst part might be the EPG--the modified plant fat that is in the bar. It is modified so it can only be partially digested, which is why the bar has much less LISTED fat calories than similar bars that don't use EPG. But what happens to the part of the fat you don't digest? They claim is it NOT like olestra, but after a bar a day off and on, It finally caught up with me and gave me a lot of GI distress. The high protein to calorie ratio is because of the EPG, but consumer labs did a review and noted the ACUTAL fat content. I think the labeling is not honest. Given the change in ingredients, and that about 10G of EPG fat an cause GI distress (about one bar), throw in sugar alcohol in the mix, and I think everybody should try a different product with HONEST labeling. I won't be buyinig this again and I hope others do more research on the EPG ingredient. Maybe its not olestra, but stuck on a toliet for a day is not worth it.

Tasty, easily digestible, sensible bar
I work in the health profession. As a lifelong athlete, I have tried MANY bars in the past. I like different bars for different reasons. But I REALLY like this bar. It just makes sense. Trust the science. Go to the David bar website and listen to what Dr Peter Attia has to say. After initially hearing about the David Bar on the Huberman Lab, I tried the variety pack, then rated each bar in terms of flavor / what I like. I recommend you do the same. My top 2 are the chocolate chip cookie dough, and fudge brownie, but this is a personal choice. I have been purchasing bulk packs since then. Sometimes protein bars can be hard to digest - that has not been my experience with the David bar.

gets the job done
This is honestly one of the best bars when it comes to protein per calorie. The fudge brownie flavor isn’t bad, it does have that typical protein bar taste, but it’s not the worst. It’s a little gooey, which is why I keep them in the fridge, but the crispy bits give it a nice texture. What I really like is how efficient they are. I can stay in a calorie deficit and still hit my protein goals. If that’s something you’re working on too, I’d definitely recommend giving this bar a try. As for the price, I feel like we’ve all spent more on things that weren’t nearly as useful, so i’d say it’s worth it.

Best.Protein.Bars.Ever!!!
Best protein bars ever. I am not normally a fan of just straight up chocolate flavor protein bars. These bars have absolutely changed my mind. They have great texture, flavor, and of course nutrient profile. More protein per calorie than any other protein bar that I know of. Of course I do treat them like dessert, as they are pretty damn decadent and feel like a dessert more than a post-workout protein source.

Not good for muscle building, tolerable taste
So the second ingredient is collagen and I'm not sure how much of the bar's protein content is composed of collagen because although collagen is a protein, it's an incomplete protein and not good for muscle building. It also contains maltitol which is hard on my stomach. It doesn't taste great but it's tolerable, not something I'd eat to enjoy but would eat again to hit my protein macros.
