It's very tiny. But very very functional and useful for any area it's needed.
Aww it's so cute! LoL I didn't realize how tiny it is, but that's actually perfect for me for where I washed to use it The clip is strong, but not too strong, just perfect and it has little rubber pieces so it won't scar anything it's clipped to. It's also weighted so it will stand up without being clipped to anything. The light has 3 brightness settings, with most dim one soft enough to let me fall and stay asleep. I love it. My headboard light was just to bright and placed so that it shined directly in my eyes if I lay my head down, so this will be helpful for getting to sleep at a decent hour and staying asleep till morning.

Great device for nighttime wind-down/better sleep
Just started using this reading light this week, so I can’t yet attest to its durability, but I love that it enables me to read after my husband goes to sleep without disturbing him, and I’m not frying my eyes and brain with blue light. It is very lightweight, clips perfectly onto my book, has a flexible arm and adjustable brightness by toggling the power button. I’ve been reading three nights in a row now with it so far on its first charge, with no apparent sign yet that it needs a recharge. I’d definitely buy this for all members of my family—gets a thumbs-up!

Just what I was looking for for watching nocturnal critters in a saltwater aquarium.
This is a very deep red, and won't even put a dent in your night vision. I more often use it to watch my saltwater fish tank at night so as to not cause anything nocturnal to freak out. They don't notice it at all, even on a brighter setting; and the low setting is dim enough that I have no worry at all about bothering anything.

Welcome addition to a sleep toolkit
I've been using amber lighting in the evenings for the past 3-4 years, including a couple amber booklights that are comparable in size, power, and design to this new Revive red booklight (see photo). I also use red/near-infrared light therapy daily. So I was curious about how this red booklight would compare to my amber one, both in terms of how readable text would be and whether red light would be noticeably more sleep-inducing than amber. After some side-by-side experimentation I've decided to continue using the amber light for reading in bed before lights out since I usually fall asleep quickly, and to use this red light when I'm up during the night and having trouble falling back to sleep. The two lights are also nice used together, casting a mellow sunset glow on the page.I like the simplicity of this little red booklight: you simply push the button on its head once, twice, or three times for low, medium, or bright light, then push it a fourth time to turn the light off. The light can either clip onto a book, tablet/reader, or clipboard or else it can stand on its own. The flexible gooseneck allows it to be repositioned easily. There's a USB-A charging cord included, along with a microscopic instruction sheet (that you'll probably need a magnifying glass and stronger light than this gadget produces to be able to read).NB: My phone camera distorted the effect of the light on a page of text. It's actually not glaring, nor is it hot pink; it's a pleasant, rosy, low-key illumination and the print is as readable for me as it is with my amber booklight once I give my eyes a few seconds to adjust.UPDATE: I've just taken off a star (dropping my rating from 5 stars to 4) because the light stops working abruptly with no warning when it needs to be recharged. My amber book lights gradually grow dimmer, so when I notice they're less bright I have plenty of time to recharge them the next day. This one suddenly left me in the dark last night. It recharged quickly this morning and seems to be working fine again now, so I'm assuming it's designed to shut off all at once when it runs out of juice.

Great little light
Covers a small area but that means you can pinpoint the light.

Works fine.
It takes some getting used to, to read by red light. The light is bright enough. I can tell it definitely doesn't keep me awake like using a traditional light does. I'm not really sure it makes me any more sleepy though. The light is small and light weight. It's easy to use. It lasts a very long time on one charge. Works as advertised.
