Perfect battery for Soundlink III - Super Easy Install
As the battery on my Bose Soundlink III had began to deteriorate over the past couple of years, I began to wonder if there was a better option than running an extension cord and plugging it in or simply just enjoying the 20 minutes of battery life I would get from the Soundlink III's original battery.Low and behold my prayers had been answered when I found this battery replacement. Not only was the installation a breeze, the simple removable of it's rubber "feet" revealed to me two phillips head screws. Once I had twisted my way into removing both of those, the bottom and rear cover slipped right off with the slightest of pressure. It was then that I finally saw, with my own eyes, the warry battery that had shortened many of my remote jam sessions. It had done it's job over the years, but it's time had passed. With the removal of two additional screws, I was able to displace the worn battery from it's long home and then I gently installed the new battery in it's place. By merely performing that act of righty tighty on the aforementioned screws, I was once again listening to my music without the burden of having to find an electrical outlet to supply the life support needed to fuel my dance parties. I was once again mobile with my grooves! Such a day I never thought would grace my quiet hallways again, but a they say never say never, my friends! If you are to find yourself in a similar predicament as I was and your Bose Soundlink III or II is under performing in it's wireless electrical stamina department, fear not, just simply purchase this replacement and resurrect your Soundlink and take your parties to the next level for hours to come!In all seriousness, this was so easy to install and revived my Soundlink speaker as if it were new again after years of subpar and worsening battery life!

is it a real Bose battery? Or?
Review of: FSANXF 359495 Battery Replacement for Bose SoundLink III, ASIN: B0DNMPWQVM.First Impressions Review:My old Bose SoundLink III speaker still sounds great, but battery life was now being measured in seconds and minutes, instead of hours. So I looked to see if I could replace the battery! Bose said they don't have stock of these batteries anymore. So, here on Amazon, I ordered this.Replacement was super easy, and they included a screwdriver, but I found I needed a larger one to get more torgue to unscrew the old battery. When the pulled the battery out of the package, I was surprised to see that it looks VERY SIMILAR to my original Bose battery. In my picture, my original is the top battery, with this new battery installed in my speaker on the bottom. So it is a real Bose battery?Regardless, installing was easy, and then I put it to charge. In a couple hours, everything was showing a full charge, and I've been running all afternoon, without an issue. Speaker sounds the same, but now can stay away from my charging base for already a much longer time.Whether or not this is a real Bose battery, I don't really care, as this product claims it has a 2 year warranty. For the price, getting 2 more years (and hopefully more) out of my great Bose speaker is a win, and if there are any problems, they'll hopefully replace the battery! If I learn anything more, and get a better idea of battery life, I will update here! Party on!

I couldn’t be more pleased with this battery replacement for my Bose II speaker! After struggling with the original battery’s inability to hold a charge for over a year, I was disappointed to learn that Bose no longer produces replacements. Finding this alternative on Amazon was a relief! Installation was a breeze, taking only about five minutes, and the new battery is nearly identical to the original—fitting perfectly. After a full charge, it powers the speaker flawlessly without needing to stay plugged in. Overall, I’m highly satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!

No Instructions But "mostly" Intuitive, Good Price for the Joy in Brings
For those that have an older model Bose Soundlink III (model 414255), this battery is a good replacement option. If you find this wireless Bluetooth speaker has very short lifespan, you may need a replacement battery. It was quite easy and took about 5 minutes once I watched a youtube video to discover the screws under the rubber feet/pads. I would recommend this battery if yours is not holding a charge. The Bose website professed about 6 hours of play at "moderate level" ... if you need something to judge your battery life. It should take no more than 3 hours to charge a completely depleted battery with the manufacturers charger. To replace the battery, remove the rubber feet that are held on by sticky adhesive (fairly easy with finger tips and fingernails to start the peeling). Remove the two Phillips head screws, gently pull the speaker side that is has the charger hole by slightly lifting and pushing it back from where you just pulled off the base plate. Undo the two remaining phillps head screws that are holding the older battery in place. Pull it out by using the battery edges near where the screws held it. Now reverse the process using the new battery.
