Smart buy!
This is my 3rd Samsung TV and this one doesn't fail to impress, as usual. The setup is extremely easy - u simply enter in your WiFi network/password, select your cable provider & youare on your way. The picture quality is fantastic, sound is good and the # of apps available off the smart menu impressive. This unit comes with the capability of using the Samsung remote as a universal remote to control other components, if you shoud choose to do so. It has an extended IR cable included with the unit to assist in the setup and use of other components (such as Blu-Ray players).I have only one minor complaint - for some reason on the back of the TV, the HDMI cables have the 2nd port farther inside (HDMI 1 is closest to the side) making it more difficult to add a component at a later time w/out having to turn the unit around. However, that is a minor matter and I chose not to deduct an entire star for this issue. All in all - I couldn't be more satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend this TV to those looking for Smart TV's at a great price.

May be "Smart" but not ready for Prime time.
First, the picture is excellent. As a TV, I would give this 5 stars. As a "Smart TV", it's more like 2. I have an "N" wireless network, with the router sitting on top of the TV armoire. The router is hooked to Comcast cable running at a measured speed of over 70 Mbps download and over 12 Mbps upload. Netflix simply would not run over the wireless interface, with constant stoppages for buffering. I stripped out as many apps as I could, and connected the TV to the router directly with an ethernet cable. At that point, I would say performance became OK, and I did watch a couple shows on both Amazon Prime and Netflix. However later Netflix did start acting up again.I bought a Smart TV to try and reduce the remotes I have: 1 for comcast channels, 1 for Roku, 1 for the TV itself (plus others for the stereo and DVD). Having had 3 Samsung TVs before, I was looking forward to this upgrade, but now am greatly disappointed. My old Harmony remote did a pretty good job with the DVD player, the old TV, and the stereo. And the Roku was a no-problem way to access various internet channels. If I figure this out fairly soon, I will update this review, but otherwise it's a new Harmony remote and Roku box, and the Samsung will go back to being a plain ol' TV. At this point, I wish I had simply gone with the "dumb" version, plus the higher-end Harmony, and the Roku 3, would have cost about the same.

Picture is fine. One cannot stream PBS which is a staple for me. Forget the smart hub and but an Apple TV. It will save you money and easier to use.

this was a great deal to replace my Samsung of 10 years that died - now if I can only talk my wife into eliminating the entertainment center, I'll get a larger Samsung and put this one in the bedroom!

This is a great TV. Colour and detail is great and variable control manipulation easy for settings. Wifi works fine. Samsung is the best!

because Samsung got good reviews. Well
I chose this for the unusual size as it fits my existing cabinet perfectly, and, because Samsung got good reviews. Well, the support from Samsung sucks...2 months later and I still don't have a Samsung account. This review could apply to any 'smart' TV. They don't tell you that you ought to invest another $30-40 in a wireless keyboard. After that you find that the wireless keyboard does not control Netflix and Hulu and whatever else. (Full Disclosure...its the fault of the app writers for Netflix and Hulu). So I spent another $120 for an AppleTV hockey puck and cables and now I can use Netflix more easily. Now I wish the unit had more HDMI ports since I had to waste one to obtain the basic functions. Another major fail is use of internet on the "smart" TV. Just google 'samsung tv flash player' and you'll find that flash does'nt work on Samsungs. The response from Samsung and their help reps is ignorance and stonewalling. All of which just wastes hours of time 'til you realize you've been had. This applies to ALL Samsung Smart TVs.

Great TV
I bought this television for my basement replacing a 60 inch monster that we had. I redesigned the space it would go in and this was a unique size that just fit my space. It is a great TV. Samsung makes the clearest brightest picture sets of anyone. I have 5 televisions in my house and all are now samsung. The blacks are true and the set lasts for ever. It was easy to connect to my home wifi and streams video effortlessly. It has plenty of inputs and outputs. My receiver and other components mesh with it as if they were designed to go together (which they weren't). If you can afford samsung's price they are well worth buying.
