Introduction: How to distinguish whether the product chip of your garage remote control can be copied? 1. You can check if your remote control's model number is listed below PT2240, PT2260, PT2262, PT2242, EV1527, FP527 AX5326, HT600, HT680, HT6207, HT6014, HT6P20B, HT6P20D, SMC5026, SMC53 26, SMC918 etc. AGAIN MAKE SURE your garage door remote is listed above or your opener uses technology BECAUSE OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT WORK - THIS REMOTE IS NOT UNIVERSAL. 2. Can be compatible with most fixed code remote controllers. The original remote can be disassemble to view the chip model. Whether it matches the above model. 3. Please refer to the description of the frequency of the chip. Modulaton Method ASK(Amplitude-shift keying) ASK Code learning: The programming procedure is similar for button A, button B ,button C,button D,please refer to below steps for code learning of button A: 1. not compatible with everything
Well, this remote worked perfectly with the remote door unlock system on our older (2003) American Coach/Fleetwood Revolution RV. (40C) I didn't want to replace the entire RV system. This is what it was primarily purchased for so I give it 4 stars. Now the "but." It's really is unfortunate that it doesn't work with the Honda remote door locks (at all) or work "fully" with the Carefree motorized awning. (interestingly the remote takes the "store awning code" but not the open code)Final opinion: It works perfectly with this coaches remote door locks. That's the primary reason it was purchased. One of my two existing remotes stopped working. So far, I'm unable to "source" an OEM replacement. (I have since also had some time and repaired the original remote. I originally didn't think I'd get it working...) I've used it repeatedly though on the door, and so far it has worked perfectly. So I'm extremely glad to have it and would definitely purchase it again if needed. It's not expensive and worth a try if you might be "in the same boat" (so to speak) as I was or just want an extra. I'm definitely glad to have found "anything" that worked. I did not try this remote on any other car and it may very well be just fine. Our "Element" tow car is a 2004. So, this is definitely a review based only on "my" immediate requirements and devices. It's very possible this remote (that also appears quite well built) may work with newer cars with "rolling codes" or maybe garage door openers (old or new) I just didn't test any other devices or systems. (Do read the programming instructions carefully and repeatedly) For my primary "purchase reason," I love it!

It will not copy anything (popular remotes)
My review of the product still stands yet I have adjusted my rating up one star because the seller was very responsive and supplied a video showing the remote copying other types of remotes that I do not have. Since I am confident that I have a good sampling of remotes from the USA and the seller is using remotes from somewhere else, I believe this product is not meant for the average user here.Original review: First issue is that the instructions do not make sense. Even the additional one from one of the users. The instructions clearly state that the LED blinks when it enters the learning mode. When you follow the instructions to get to the learning mode the LED goes SOLID RED - opposite of the instructions. Now if the solid LED is the learning mode then it does not work. I have tried 10 different types of remotes and I have held both buttons (old and new remote) over 3 minutes each. Sorry but it just wont work.

It does not work
We have tried to program and it simply will not work. I am disappointed in this product and i do not recommend it to anyone. Perhaps you need to be a tech to program but My techy tried and it was a no go. I filed it in the garbage can as i did not want the hassle of return.

It doesn't work
Instructions call for numbers and there are only letters. Assuming the letter A is #1, etc. I tried many times to program it to no avail. It just keeps blinking. So I've sent it back for a refund.

Waste Of Time "and Money
Does not work, tried multiple remotes with different frequencies that were supposed to be compatible. Average 10 to 15 minutes per remote enough to scan through the frequencies, even reset the remote twice . It's a piece of junk, nice clip though. No No No ,you will regret buying this . where is the minus stars rating
