The single cable solution that ended up being far more convent than I expecyed!I've had this small portable monitor for a while, and while I love it for my laptop and steamdeck, (1 cord for power+video)Anytime I had to hook up to older hdmi only devices, it became a bit of a pain,I need (1) an HDMI to mini hdmi adaptor, (2) a standard hdmi cord, (3) a USB-A to USB-C cord to power the monitor.It was a bit of a mess in terms of wiring and trying to keep everything neat in the monitor case,But now with this fancy cable, I can get all the advantages of USB-C video devices now on my older devices,As long as the device can supply a decent amount of power, I can plug in this SINGLE CORD to the hdmi and USA-Ports, then I can simply attach my portable monitor to USB-c and it JUST WORKS!The cable it's self is fairly low power draw( ~0.33w) so pretty much anything should be able to power it!(except some older raspberry pis and similar devices, they tend to have abnormally low power usb ports)And as long as you're using a lower powered monitor, the host device should be able to power that too!I was able to even use my xbox360 with just the single cable attached to my 1080p portable monitor, and it seemed to work fine!There is a bit of an overmolding on the hdmi portion, but it still fit snuggly in the hdmi slot on my old console.So it's super easy to use, no software or driver required, good quality cable too, works great!

Performs as described and intended. The construction didn’t give me any concerns. The ends did not heat up during use and fit all of the devices I tested it with. Good cable, it’s in the bag for use.

Is working well for me to connect a portable monitor to my laptop. So far I've not had any of the issues that some other people have had. It seems to be a good quality and at least for me. It's working so far.

Cable defective, was not working

Worked great with a PS5 and Nintendo Switch to connect them to an LG USB-C 4K monitor. Image and sound was perfect. While the USB is described as simply for power, my monitor has a USB keyboard, mouse, and webcam attached which the PS5 suprisingly picked up (I connected the USB end directly into one of the USB ports on the PS5). I was able to confirm that the keyboard worked, but I did not have any apps installed to take advantage of the mouse or webcam.

I got this and my son asked where lol. He said it was a really quality brand. He's into electronics. Great length, looks like it will last a long time and somehow it's even cute for a cord. It does what it's supposed to so I definitely can back this and give it two thumbs up!

You’ll need to acknowledge the device before video starts if you’re using a phone or tablet, but this works just fine as a video-out solution for random USB-C/Thunderbolt-only devices. The cable should be part of your travel kit if you expect to make presentations on random monitors, or if you just want to have a fallback TV solution in your hotel room.I haven’t had a lot of luck with UGreen devices, so this was a pleasant surprise which just worked (though I would rather not have to power the thing over a TV’s USB-A service port). The cable is well-manufactured and well-insulated. I’ll be keeping mine to one side for when I need to use it with an XP-Pen display.
