Works Great!
We bought two of these to protect the mattresses of our two young boys. The pads are great, absorbent and soft. I also like the fact that they don't crinkle; they go under the sheet and the boys don't even know they're there! Great value, good product!

The zipper is the best part
It has a zipper so putting it on is very easy

More like 3.4 Stars
The inner PUL or whatever it is sticks to itself after being dried even on low. I prefer the "Saddle Style Soaker Mattress Pad" version I bought at the same time and alternate almost daily with. But after unsticking it, it's fine and gets the job done. Love the wings for holding it in place.

You get what you pay for....
I am incredibly disappointed and frankly, angry. These underpads are horrible and cheap. The backing is vinyl, not the waterproof fabric used by higher quality underpads. They are also made in China which I suppose explains quite a bit. I use these for an indoor potty area for my dogs. Instructions for laundering are "machine wash warm, do not bleach, tumble dry low heat, do not iron," all of which I followed expressly since this is not my first time using underpads. Upon laundering the inner layer began to separate and clump, exposing a veneer of thin, porous material, thereby necessitating replacement. I bought these as extra sets while laundering previously owned pads, and I am sorry I fell for this cheaper price. Ultimately I had wasted my money, since these were in essence disposable, and had to be replaced after 4 or 5 washings. Previously purchased incontinence underpads that were hospital grade and cost 50%-100% more have lasted several years after weekly, sometimes bi-weekly, washings. It doesn't take a math whiz to realize the savings in spending more for the better quality product! I will never buy these again, nor will I ever recommend them to friends.

He did wet the bed some time last week and it was so nice to just take up this product and his top ...
My son doesn't wet the bed very often; but when he does, it is a pain to change the top bunk sheets in the middle of the night and try not to wake my daughter on the bottom bunk. He did wet the bed some time last week and it was so nice to just take up this product and his top sheet and send him back to bed with another blanket. My only issue with it is that it didn't want to stay in place on the top bunk (I guess because it is not flat and is just up there by the slats). My temporary fix for that is to put a piece of cardboard underneath so there is more surface area to keep it still. I probably need to do a similar thing the foot of his bed because his sheet never stays on either. I probably need to look into getting some kind of wood board for the whole thing, but that is an issue with the bed and not this product itself. It has stayed in place since putting the cardboard there.

Sizing was misleading, but has been fixed in description
I bought two of these and they are great. Very absorbent, and a big improvement over having to wash my son's whole sheet and mattress pad. The only complaint I have, and reason for only 3 stars, is with the Size described as 34 x 72 inches. I purposely chose this particular pad because I thought the waterproof portion was 34 x 72 inches. It is only probably 34x36 inches, with the other 36 inches taken up with the non-waterproof tucking wings.UPDATE: PottyMD quickly updated their description to accurately reflect the sizing of the waterproof area. Kudos to them, and I'm changing my rating to 5 star!

Stopped Adult Accident
I bought this in conjunction with the Wet-Stop Queen Mattress Cover to ensure our visiting elderly incontinent relative was completely protected (really, so our mattress was protected). The waterproof mattress cover went under the sheets, then the sheets, then I pinned this Bed Pad over the sheet, placing it where her hip-area was.Glad we did this! Even though she wears adult diapers, she had a bowel movement (#2) and urine the very first night. The diapers caught most of it, but some leaked onto this pad - but did not go through it. The pad stopped the fluids before they got to the sheets. We just threw the pad in the washer the next morning, and air dried it in the sun. Then it was ready to go again.CONS: Perhaps I bought the wrong size, but this does not fit a queen bed. The pad is big enough, though does not cover a queen if they move around a lot during the night, but the 'wings' aren't nearly long enough, so I had to pin it down with safety pins (which presented another hazard for her - getting stuck). And- since it has a plastic inner core, you can't dry it in the dryer. We live in Seattle, and luckily we had sunny days for drying it outside - plus the sun is a good disinfectant. If you have a really bad mess, you can't bleach this because of the plastic, so keep that in mind. But all in all, it stopped adult incontinence and saved our sheets and mattress. We were pleased. And our relative like it so much that we she took it home with her (better than us throwing it away).
