If you wasn’t an old times vibe get this
I liked just about Everything except the bridge which seems bent.

Not made in the USA
The name of this guitar is misleading, this is not made in the USA. Manufacture confirmed it is made in China.

Fantastic Gibson vintage vibe at a fraction of the cost
This is my second Loar. US designed and many of them are also at least partly assembled in the US. My flat top model sounds and plays every bit as good as a vintage Gibson parlor and the arch top plays nice than my Gibson ES-125. The only reason I don't go 5 stars is the pickup is good-not great. I plan to upgrade to a Lollar P90. I don't like carting around my vintage Gibsons to gigs and you can't beat Loar for a vintage Gibson sound and feel for a fraction of the cost. The person who gave one star because they are made by a US company offshore apparently didn't read about it first. If that's his standard he may just need a $6000 Gibson.

The best jazzbox on the market!
I have owned this guitar since August of 2015 and it is literally changing my life. I have a lot of other guitars like strats and an Epiphone Dot along with a few acoustics but I have never been able to be inspired like I am with this one guitar. I am into jazz and before that it was blues for a long time. But since I began making this transition into jazz I realized that none of the other 8 guitars I own would really hold up for too long and they held me back. When I received this guitar in the mail it was like the best Christmas morning (in August) a guy could ever have. I have compared this to higher-end archtops at the guitar stores but this one truly feels the best and sounds so good. Like others have stated, you can swing all day long. If you are into jazz this is a great place to settle because it will take you places as long as you have the talent, patience and the passion for the music. Great jazzbox forever. Now I just need a case. BTW, I have improved my playing 300% since owning this. Not sure if the guitar is attributed to this but I think it is safe to say that it is. I have 13 gauge flatwounds on it and they are perfect.

Great value for classic archtop sound
For the price, 5 stars. You can't compare it to $3-5k guitars.I was looking for that acoustic archtop sound, that great percussive "chop" that is very hard to find in flat top acoustics (I own a lovely Taylor). Since I wasn't really ready to spring for a vintage Gibson, this guitar has made me so very happy. I can swing hard, get a lot of volume and that chop I'm looking for. I like the versatility of having the pickup, though I prefer the acoustic sound and will direct mic and use the line for live settings. I play mostly rhythm guitar, but this has enough tone for solo work as well. All around great value -- if this is the sound you are looking for.

Amazing what you get for the cash
This guitar sounds amazing, crisp and loud tone with that great jazz/blues sound. Great quality finish. Fret board and neck are nice and fat for finger picking, but not too big. Definitely get this guitar if you're looking to get the bang for your buck. Also sounds gnarly when plugged in.
