*I talk about the Flextone Ab Stimulator here but I went to clarify this purchase/review is for Flextone Replacement Gel Pads*I’m athletic, I’ve always played sports and been healthy, especially in the last few years. But this last summer I broke my wrist (badly) cycling. This was a total 3am buy when I panicked about staying in shape post wrist surgery. WELL However healthy and fit I’ve been I’ve never been able to get abs like I have with these. The irony - unable to do high intensity training, or really strenuous cardio and yet I stayed in great shape. *I talk about the whole Flextone Ab Muscle Stimulator for context - this is review is for the Flextone ***Replacement*** Gel Pads.These replacement gel pads last 2-3 months for me but after that the sticky quality is compromised. I use one of the “activator” gels on the gel pad as well as wrapping an ace bandage to keep the gel pads in place once it can’t stick on its own. This can extend the line span of the gel replacement pads. Overall this is still the best way (for me) to get defined abs. They updated these and I’ll be honest, the 8-pack one doesn’t work as well as the normal six back adhesive one. I’m not sure why, it may be something to do with me having a shorter torso? I’m 5’4” - but the 8 pack isn’t my favorite. The “cycle” of the ab workout is 20 minutes.These aren’t supposed to last forever- that’s why the replacements aren’t that expensive - to extend the time of these I always wet the adhesive rectangles after use with my finger and water, just enough to clean it off, especially to clean off any sweat etc.I have to repurchase the Flextone Replacement Gel Pads every few months. I’ve been using Flextones System (a separate $99 purchase) since summer 2019.

I don’t like the fact that it didn’t come with an ems like wtf what if I didn’t have one why are you only selling pads this is a ripe off and they barely even stick

I bought a SPORTCDIA Abs Stimulator ($29) a few years ago and, after replacing the gel sticky pads a couple times, it finally wore out and would not send pulses anymore. The SPORTCDIA rechargeable stimulator devices still work, so I bought these Flextone Replacement Pads with the hopes that they would fit and lo and behold they fit perfectly. In fact, the Flextone Replacement Pads are a real upgrade from what I had before with much stronger pulses and sturdier better quality pads. I wish I had done this sooner. I donʻt know how well the Flextone stimulator devices that send the pulses compare (the set costs $189), but I am definitely happy with using my old devices with these new pads. I feel like it was a real bargain for the quality of EMS I now have.

Like product was a great replacement for my original purchase.

It’s only some of it there’s no remote hook up or anything

This product was new to me. I enjoy using them because they are easy on easy off. I can feel my muscles contracting which is the workout yet it also feels like a massage. I would recommend these to everyone who doesn't have quite enough time to get to the gym as often as they'd like.

My product did not come with a motor when it arrived

Muscles are sore today, must be doing something.
