No escaping leaves!
Wife of the purchaser here: This is a perfect size! Soft silicone. Both halves fit perfectly together so less tea leaves escape. Would definitely buy for gifts as well!

So easy to use
I was kind of skeptical at first but wanted to try something different with my potato soup for easter. It was great! I would recommend adding a little more herbs than you usually would to get a stronger flavor (I did two bay leaves instead of one and it was perfect) its great for hispanic dishes where we need to remove the cilantro and parsley towards the end like beans and soups and moro. I wish there was a different look to this so it doesnt look like a dog toy. but overall I love it.

Delightful
I made infused cider with this, and not only did it work perfectly I smiled when I spotted it.

Large tea only
This product is super cute, but allows small pieces of tea that goes through the holes so it is only good for large looseleaf tea

It actually works.
It was an experiment for me. I've just stumbled upon it and it was very cute and seemed like e nice way to get rid of the black pepper, bay leaf, etc. when you make a soup. I was worried that the holes won't be big enough for the flavor to escape. But it works! The soup was delicious and it was easy to clean this gadget. But as my husband put it "a great solution to the problem I didn't know we had". :)

Drumstick shaped silicone herb infuser
I just love this herb infuser. Besides the total fun factor it works really well. I've used it several times since I purchases it; once to make ice cream - and tell me that isn't funny? It was a spiced vanilla ice cream and looking at that chicken leg in the custard base just made me laugh but it held the whole spices very well. The second time was for soup and it worked brilliantly. It's so easy to use and just as easy to clean. I can't believe I didn't discover it sooner.

Small and dirty
Much smaller than the pictures show and there was debris inside that I had to clean and sanitize before trying to use it.

Adorkable Cookware
Warning: Make sure you warn your roommate this is not a dog toy. This is absolutely adorable but confused my poor roommate who I caught about to hand it to the pup when I left this on the counter to dry.I love the size because I can stuff it full of all the rosemary, thyme, bay leaves, star anise, etc that I want. It's been perfect for use in my dutch oven or slow cooker when I'm making soups and stocks. Come the return of fall and winter I'll definitely be using it for my mulled wines and spiced cider. I have not noticed any change in color even with use in some usually staining liquids.
