Great for little kids playing dress up. Not for pre-teens or anyone wanting quality makeup
My daughter saw this exact makeup case at Cracker Barrel on Thanksgiving and has been asking for it ever since. She is 3 and loves playing with my makeup. This is a great little play makeup case for young kids who just want to play. I wouldn’t buy it for a pre-teen or anyone who is actually wanting to wear makeup out and about. The plastic interior that the makeup sits in is very flimsy and the eyeshadow is not very pigmented so it doesn’t go on well. For our purposes though, this was a perfect gift.

Wouldn’t recommend!
While I realize a real mirror cannot be used, a cheap, non-reflective piece of metal is a poor substitute! This would not be suitable for a tween, and I am going to have to purchase a mirror to give my 6 and 7 year old granddaughters, so I don’t have to answer the question of why they can’t see themselves to put on their “make up”!!

9 year old love it
My 9 year old granddaughter likes to dress up for karaoke night. She was able to do a good job putting the make up on by herself. It doesn't apply too dark and her mom approves. My granddaughter's only complaint is that she can't share it with her best friend yet.
