Price Changes - Not Great Value
Only a few weeks after purchasing, Lenovo has already begun offering huge discounts on this laptop via their direct shop. This laptop was clearly not a great value at launch, and Lenovo's rapid price adjustment is an unacceptable business practice in our opinion. The price fluctuations and manufacturer-direct purchase favoritism just leaves a sour flavor over every subsequent experience. We are satisfied with the performance of the laptop, noting exceptional 1 full day of battery life during a workday filled with juggling messages across two active Slack organizations, 72 Chrome tabs' worth of research projects, too many Word and Excel proposal documents, and occasionally firing up a software development platform. It is thin and light, easy to slip into a day-pack with a durable cover material.

Very good ultra portable with casual gaming
I classify this laptop as an ultra portable. It is very thin, light weight, and has good battery life. The touch OLED screen is vibrant and comparable to the higher end OLED TV screens we have. The keyboard has a nice feel and supports 80+ WPM typing without issue. The trackpad is responsive and has a good feel to it.I benchmarked this laptop with Passmark which is a reputable benchmark package. See attached picture. The i7 processor and fast SSDD helped this laptop obtain an impressive benchmark score for it's class. While the benchmark is only 67%, it is important to remember that is 67% of all computers including desktops and workstations. While this is not a gaming laptop I tested it with a few AAA titles. For a local install it ran a new version of Civ with reasonably high graphics settings and it also ran D4. I paired an Xbox controller and was able to play OW2 but at reduced graphics settings. And I was able to play a few different tittles on Xbox cloud gaming.I like this PC and feel that it is very capable laptop for it's price range.

Nice laptop
I am only marking 4 stars because of the price. You can get this item for $100+ cheaper elswhere including Lenovo's site. However the item itself is great. I picked it up for the public laptop at the house. It works very good. It is not a gaming laptop but can decently handle itself on some of the lower end games. The battery life is good. It seems to be working well. Great weight for a laptop. Setup as easy as any other laptop I have setup. Can't believe I got it but super happy I did.

Great quality, lots of features, easy setup, powerful, crazy battery life
I've used a lot of different laptops and computers over the years, built some, sold some, fixed some... You get the idea. I know what I'm talking about when I play with tech at high to low end. So we are clear I have the 16 gb ram core ultra 256v.This device has some very big pros, and a few irritating cons.--Battery life is ridiculously good. I've never owned a Chromebook or cellphone that had this much battery life in it. We are talking 10-15 hours of hard real life use, pushing over 20 if you aren't a 30 tabs and 9 programs kind of person. Helpful note, Edge is soooo much better at battery life than Chrome, with near feature parity (they are both based on chromium).--The keyboard has more travel than I'm used to on a laptop. They aren't clicky, but maybe twice the travel of a Mac keyboard and a wee bit more than a surface laptop studio. Less than a typical desktop keyboard. This is pro for most people.--The track pad is great to move with, but the click mechanism pivots on the top, which means the bottom of the mousepad is the easiest place to click. This would be fine if the track pad wasn't slightly to the left and almost flush with the bottom of the chassis. That means you can't comfortably use the mechanical click unless your hand is hanging off the laptop. If you tap to click you are fine -- that works well. If you would rather mechanical click, just make sure you are at a table or desk because it's pretty irritating in "lap" mode. As I've used it more, you can adjust to the left-sided trackpad, but it's irritating since I leave my left hand on the control button for copy/paste etc.Spec wise, this thing is an absolute monster. It's double the performance of my 11 series i5, and double the performance of the Intel Iris xe graphics. For reference this is about as good as a full powered dedicated GTX 1050 ti graphics card that takes 6x the power -- which is a wild improvement for integrated graphics. It does everything I need it to, even complex video editing (though not at 4k), rendering, and could probably do last Gen games well (I haven't tried any). There was pretty minimal crap-ware to remove at the start (only two programs). Lenovo advantage is actually pretty neat -- can do automatic bios/UEFI updates and other firmware updates. If you want to be able to rotate your screen with keyboard shortcut s, you'll need the beta version of the Intel graphics app from Microsoft store.I wasn't expecting all the freebies, like 3 months of Xbox gamepass and some other goodies. Cool.I ran it really hard at the start with updates and file transfers (wifi is solid and maxes out my ac network) and it never slowed down. At all. It got about 105 F Max, not any hotter. The copilot stuff feels half baked at the moment, but I anticipate it will get better. Read the terms, some people may not be comfortable with the complete lack of privacy required for this. Intel bridge app works nicely to connect to your phone.I've never opened an electronic device that didn't require a ton of tweaking to get things how I want it. I got my programs installed via ninite etc, and it just works, and I actually LIKE how the help and guide features set you up for success without being irritating and getting in the way. For example, the modes feature is pretty cool, but it's not something I had seen before. When I pressed the modes button, the computer helpfully explained how it works, then got out of my way. Slick. The screen is OLED and stunning and supports good quality HDR (you'll have to turn it on because it's off to save battery by default), but I can feel the limits of just over 1080p resolution at 14 inches. This and the lack of ergonomics on the track pad mechanical click are the two biggest cons in my opinion. It's also one of the thinner laptops I've seen -- remarkably light and small for how much punch it packs. I had a state of the art thinkpad workstation laptop 5 years ago, and maybe 3.5 of these could fit into that, and this has 2x the performance and 4x the battery life. Wild. There is a hardware "turn off the camera" switch on the side, an actual full sized HDMI port, two thunderbolt 4 ports, a micro SD card reader, and an actual full sized USB A port. That's abnormally good connectivity for something this small.Lastly, while the snapdragon chips and m4 silicon outperform (though not by as much as you think) this computer runs x86 instructions just like almost every computer in the last two decades-- meaning you won't have program compatibility issues or have to need with emulation layers like you would on ARM chips right now.In all, this is a delightful product that has some nicer features than I would expect at this price range.

Lenovo Slim 7i Aura Edition (Made In Vietnam)
Short & Sweet: Highly Recommended.TLDR:I am partial to this brand. I have an older Lenovo notebook PC that still works great, albeit slower compared to this year's model. My other PC (rhymes with "hell") is more of a PoC (piece of crap).Technical Details:Intel Core U7 256V, 16GB, 1TB SSD, Integrated GPU, 14.0" WUXGA OLED TS, 4 CELL Battery, Windows 11 Pro, Luna Grey
