24 Christmas Stories to Welcome Jesus

I love how this book helps children prepare for Christmas! The stories are a mixture of biblical stories and fiction stories. This was a wonderful way to encourage my children to appreciate the true meaning of Christmas and to focus their hearts of Jesus. We read a story each night at bedtime, and my 2 year old and 3 year old were engaged in each of the stories because they were well written. I also thought the illustrations were very attractive. I have a few other books that we sometimes read at Christmas, but I like how this one has a story for each day. The stories are 2-3 pages long, so it is great for younger children who have short attention spans.

Great 2-3 page stories to read each night. My kids love it. The stories are Bible stories on one day and then fictional stories with relevant topics the opposite days. Just perfect for my 7 and 9 year olds.

I ordered two of these books, the books are very nice and the stories appear to be great. One of my books, arrived with two puncture holes in the back of the book. It did not correlate with the packaging at all, so obviously were put into the box already with the puncture holes.

We're enjoying reading a story each day of Advent before Christmas. There is a nice mix of biblical stories, Saint stories, and modern stories. Our kids, ages 4 & 6, look forward to the story each day.

This book is awesome. It gives you a nice story for each day of December, geared toward preparing children's hearts for Christ, and not for a truckload of gifts. We've really enjoyed reading the stories. Our oldest is five, and he seems to get the stories, although we do explain things to him.

This is a delightful take on an Advent calendar. 24 stories, both Biblically based and others, to help your little one learn the Truth behind Christmas.

I bought this book thinking that it was a 24 day scripture-based book leading up to Christmas and the arrival of Jesus. The plan was to read a page at a time to go along with our advent calendar. I was very disappointed when we got the book to see that was not the case at all. Only a couple stories cover the actual bible story. The rest of the stories were hardly related to scripture. If you are looking for a book to walk you through the actual story of Jesus and Christmas with your kiddos, this is not the book for you.
