This is a great sturdy coffee table. It was pretty easy to put together. I did have help with my niece and that helped a lot. The only thing I will say is that when it’s open at one side, it looks weird because it’s a box inside but you really don’t notice it.. great color and gives a really great mid century touch to my aesthetic.

Cute. Darker in person. I expected a light brown or honey brown. Size and quality are good.

Easy to assemble

I need to say while this coffee table looks good in pictures it is not very durable. It is a melamine finish and feels cheap. It wasn’t that cheap. I wouldn’t buy it again.

I really wanted to give this table a better rating but the quality just isn’t there. I do love how it looks, it’s sturdy and makes my room look more spacious and functional vs my old rectangle coffee table. It assembled easy, and the price was great! I couldn’t find anything with storage that looked like this anywhere else- and any similar looking table (without storage) was hundreds more.However, you get what you pay for.The veneer on the top of this thing is so thin the edges were peeling up from the tiny bit of sliding that happened as I was assembling it on the carpet. I glued them back down and hit it with a stain marker. Looks okay. That veneer is also so thin you can see the texture of the particle bird through it. For god’s sakes use a coaster because this will absolutely get those puffy permanent water rings if you don’t. The edge banding is also sloppily done, it’s chipped and doesn’t meet up well on the one side, and around the whole top you can see glue where it connects. Also, the sliding door always leaves a section open when one side is closed so only half can be truly hidden storage. It’s not a super smooth slide either but it does work. There were no reviews on here for this so I wanted to be thorough.To sum up, this is cheap and looks good for a room that isn’t heavily used. If imperfections bother you, don’t get it. I do not advise this to be used in any sort of commercial setting or in any heavily used living spaces. Luckily I am putting it my parlor which doesn’t see heavy use so I will not be returning it.
