This is fantastic. I have been waiting for a mop just like this for a ling time. I have used all the others, the ocedar spin mop, the spray flat mop, the hands and knee mop, the swiffer pad mop and I just got rid of all these for this one Ocedar flat mop because it cleans the mop pad while you use it. I don't have to wring out the pad anymore, I don't get too much water on the floor, I don't push around dirty mop pads and I don't have to hurt my hands, spray constantly to wet the floor snd pad. I bought one for my daughter also. It is really good to use also on the walls and I really just put a few drops of dish soap in my fresh water so it doesn't harm paint or wood floor finish and it works perfect. I do wish it came with 2 pads instead of just one and wasn't so expensive but i don't regret buying anyway.

This is the most convenient mop I've ever owned. Very innovative design makes it very easy to use. Cleans well and holds more water than you think, so you can mop large areas very quickly. The clean/dirty water separation really makes a difference, especially if you're mopping tile floors with grout lines where dirt loves to accumulate. I've used it with plain water which worked great for small jobs. I've also added a little bit of my favorite floor cleaner for bigger jobs and a nice fresh scent.The instructions are all on the box itself - no manual - so don't throw the box away. Be sure to look over all the panels on the box as there is some fine print regarding adding cleaning solution. It would be nice to have an extra mop pad, but the one included seems very sturdy and should last a long time. One tip - when filling up the clean water tank, add some water to the dirty water tank also to act as ballast so it's not top heavy. It has never tipped over on me, so this is just insurance.Overall, it's been a great purchase and definitely worth the price.

ProsSet up:Right out of the box everything was compact and neatly organized. Without so much as a glance at the instructions (I think there were there instructions...) I was able to put this mop together in under a minute - it’s just that intuitive. Big plus for the quick and easy set up and go.Reservoir:The water reservoir seemed small but by the time I finished mopping the first time I used it, there was still a little bit left and I very liberally used the cleaning feature so lots of fresh water use between sections. I love the accessibility of this and the ability to add any solution or even just plain water on an as needed basis.Pad:The pad is washable/reuseable. It is thick and well made with little scrubby bristles which really helped get my floors squeaky clean! I have no idea how long it will truly hold up in the wash but I suspect it will last a while. It is a standard shape so I know there will be lots of options even if Ocedar decides to discontinue way in the future. That’s a plus knowing it won’t require any proprietary parts.Clean by Flooring type:This mop handled wood, vinyl and tile very well but did not do as great a job on our stone kitchen floors with deeper grooves (not surprisingly). We will have to stick to a regular good ole fashioned mop for that.This was fun to mop with but similar to old stiffer there can be some inadvertent flipping of the mopping pad but nothing too off putting.Cons:This is not a heavy duty mop so it will have to be an extra (not necessarily a deal breaker but worth noting) This can be great for dorms, apartments etc where space is limited or where the flooring is primarily carpet/not needing a mop.With all plastic parts it felt a little light but hasn’t tipped over and has fared well so far so maybe that worry is for naught.Conclusion:Great mop to have! I love the way it cleaned, the ease of use can’t be beat and reuse is even easier! It was fun to clean with. The novelty factor is actual practical - it is amazing to keep the dirty water separated without having to dump and refill and wash the mop etc. This little powerhouse is here to stay and I would definitelyReplace with the same in a couple of years of it held up that long which I suspect it will! Lots to love here!

I liked this enough to take the time to write a review. As a busy mom, I needed a mop that was convenient. The main reason I bought this mop was because it is very convenient to use. I literally used it one-handed while I was on a phone call the other day. It is super easy to set up and then you can throw the pad into the laundry when done. It is light enough that I store it on the side of my refrigerator on a magnetic hook when it is not in use. I don't think it will last forever (my last mop is super sturdy and has lasted for years), but I needed something I could use on a daily basis, and I have been able to keep my house cleaner because I can use this mop so quickly and easily.
