Never knew what a DUVET was until now… still not sure but I do know this particular item is like a comforter to me. It was easy to use one fully expanded. The white color was easy to match with my decorum. It was a king size and fit good. It’s the summer but I turned the air up and it kept me warm and was very comfortable. I was super excited about this cause I've only had one other comforter this big but I was so surprised at how soft it was! I have a smaller one that is soft and plush but the quality is questionable. I machine wash it and I'm always worried it will rip but this one feels so much stronger so I'm more confident when washing. It's so warm and cosy and suitable for any time of the year really, once it gets cold. When it rains is the perfect time to snuggle up under it and watch a movie with my hubby. Other than that, it's a classy touch to my boring bedroom. I think white makes the room rich especially with a bright red throw blanket. It goes with pretty much any other color so whatever color your curtains are or your rug or furniture, this comforter is versatile but if not, there are other colors to choose from. I absolutely love it! It's a great buy, you won't be disappointed.
