easy to use, reliable and really improves the quality of life
When we were looking for a hearing aid for my grandpa, it was important to find a reliable and easy-to-use option. This hearing amplifier was perfect - it is compact, fits well in the ear and is almost invisible. After just one day, grandpa got used to it and could independently adjust the volume using a convenient button on the body. Now he can perfectly hear his grandchildren telling him about their affairs and can even comfortably talk on the phone. The device holds a charge for about 20 hours - enough for a whole day of active use. In the evening, just put it in a special case for recharging, and by morning it is ready to work again. The function of connecting to the TV is especially convenient - the sound is transmitted directly, so grandpa can watch his favorite programs without increasing the volume throughout the house. In noisy situations, for example, when guests come, the noise reduction mode helps - it copes well with background sounds. The most important thing is to see how grandpa's life has changed. Now he again hears the birds singing in the morning, understands all the words in TV programs and actively participates in family conversations. He even started meeting his old friends more often because he is no longer embarrassed by his hearing. This small but powerful device has really brought back the joy of communication. If your loved ones also have problems with hearing, such an amplifier will be a great solution - it is easy to use, reliable and really improves the quality of life.

How to limit the whistling.
Somewhat technical for a 91yr old man to sort but I am going to have a good go at it. However the website does not have a simple single page to fill in for the 12month warranty.

Clear Sound Boost for TV & Conversation β Compact, Rechargeable & Bluetooth-Ready
Tested this micro RIC device for daily use, and it delivered clear amplification during TV watching, group chats, and outdoor walks. The sound quality is noticeably better in quiet settings, with background noise kept reasonably low. Fit is discreet and light, so it doesnβt feel bulky or obvious, and the ear tips are soft enough for extended wear.Charging via USB is smooth β full charge took under two hours and lasted through most of the day. Bluetooth syncing worked with my phone and tablet for music and calls, though volume control during calls felt a bit sensitive. Setup was fast out of the box, with clear instructions and a sleek carry case.

Both good and not so good!
If you have mild to moderate hearing loss, these devices could genuinely make a difference. They come packaged in a sleek case that doubles as a charger, and the battery life is excellent β I easily got through full working days with 8 to 10 hours of power, often with juice to spare.π Design & Fit You can wear them as a pair or individually, and they include multiple ear tip sizes to suit most ear canals. Iβm not usually a fan of deep in-ear devices, but these were tolerable β though I was still aware of them while wearing.βοΈ Controls & Modes Each unit has two multifunction buttons. A long press on the top button cycles through Indoor, Outdoor, Tinnitus, and General modes. The bottom button switches between Listening and Music modes. In Listening mode, surrounding sounds are amplified. In Music mode, sound is not amplified, allowing you to enjoy music directly. Sound quality here is above average β not quite on par with premium earbuds, but still respectable.π± Phone Integration Bluetooth connectivity is solid and seamless. Calls automatically route through the devices when your phone rings, and sound quality is clear on both ends. One caveat β the device buttons donβt answer calls, so that still needs to be done on your phone.π Listening Experience In quiet environments, there's no hiss (aside from Tinnitus mode), and ambient silence feels clean and natural. However, in Listening mode, I did notice a slight echo/reverb effect when watching TV β subtle but present. Some sounds came across as a bit tinny, likely from boosted treble. Occasionally, I experienced audio imbalance between the two devices, which was distracting and made it hard to settle on a comfortable volume.π² App Functionality The companion app is simple but helpful. It lets you adjust settings individually or together, and even includes a basic hearing test. While the buttons on the devices are a bit fiddly β you need to pinch the unit precisely to activate them β the app offers a smoother alternative for control.β Final Thoughts Overall, these are decent devices with useful features for those who need a bit of audio support. Personally, Iβve decided not to use them daily, but Iβll keep them on hand for situations where they might come in handy.

4.5 stars would be an ideal score - excellent amplification
Beautifully presented β the box it comes in has an excellent quality feel to it.Very easy to install - in ear (not sure if that is really installation LOL), easy to pair with App on phone, reactive buttons on the amplifier itself and improves hearing greatly - a lot of amplification .Checked all the frequencies (twice) in the app - you identify the lowest volume you can hear for multiple frequencies and they were different for each ear, the right ear needing more amplification than the left, which is what I was expecting as I know that that ear has always been a little worse than the other one.The amplifier is comfortable in the ears, I left the medium tip on that they arrived withEven on the lowest amplification it makes things a lot louder and as such I think it might be a little too early for hearing aids for me.I will however use this for listening to audio books and perhaps for the TV when I am watching it in the company of those with more acute hearing than me!It's pretty quick to charge and the battery life is excellent with the charging case.It isn't cheap at Β£1995.95 but it has a Β£25 off voucher and the tech is good so I think that it is value for money.
