Lion Brand YarnMandala Baby Yarn, Rainbow Falls, 1 Skein

I didn't expect it to be so thin and I thought it would be a little different because it is advertised as baby yarn but it is a good yarn none the less. Don't expect the skein to start at red or purple , mine started at light green. The colors are great and vivid and while not as soft as expected it isn't scratchy.

I like the colors... I thought it was going to be a 4 ply yarn...but it is only a 3 ply yarn...I have a hand injury right now but when it heals I'm going to double up the strand on the yarn and crochet a Granny Merge Blanket for a baby boy blanket... 🙂

These arrived nicely packaged. Working with this yarn was a delight. It was smooth as butter and works up quick. There were no factory ties or imperfections. I purchased the Acre Woods colorway and although each one started with a different color, I was able to snip and tie so I could continue with my baby blanket with only s slight imperfection. I loved the way it came out and the young couple loved the blanket! Love Lion Brand! and will try another colorway soon.

Soft, beautiful color. I was worried at first as I got only one skein. But one skein was enough to make a 6 inches by 73 inches scarf. So, I am happy. There was 2/3 knots but that’s ok. Will purchase again In Sha Allah.

I do a lot of knitting and crocheting for charity and this is my go-to yarn for preemie blankets. Soft and warm but light weight. Washes and dries beautifully and if you are a knitter or crocheter is has few if any knots or defects. Occasionally I do wonder why a certain color may be in the mix but this colorway is lovely.
