Water resistant and open bands
What I dont like about this?The antenna and PTT are for left handed folks in my oppinion.What I like?Open band. Will function outside of Ham bands etc. This will allow one to function on other emergency frequencies if emergency occurs. ie: marine ch 16 to name one.

Need to buy more products in order to use this radio
I love tbis radio, great reach bit you have to buy an after market antenna to get better reach (the correct one that will fit is not offered by amazon, i tried, and had to return). But thebradio itself is great. One of few on the market that is waterproof. The manual is a joke though, can't use it for anything really. Have to find an online manual. And manual programming, forget it. Must find program, but no programs available offer 9v. Must find a comparable one. Also, the radio only comes with European outlet plug ins. Must buy adapter.
