These are perfect! They fit well into my knitting tools pouch and easily snip my yarn. They can be a little difficult to fold and unfold but I see this as a plus because I know they won’t open inside of my pouch.

I would never consider these to use as my everyday scissors. They are a bit difficult to unfold/refold and certainly not the sharpest or most comfortable scissors I've used.I bought these so I could have scissors on my carry-on luggage. For that, they work just fine. Now, I'm all set for those times when I'm away and need to snip a price tag or errant body hair.The best part is if a TSA agent has a hair someplace that won't be snipped (see what I did there?) and decides to confiscate them, I'm not out that much money and can replace them easily.

I own multiple pairs that I keep with my crochet WIPs. Small and foldable, trims yarn well. Have traveled with it in my carry-on for long-haul travel from USA to Greece, Turkey and Malaysia. It did get flagged in the US even with TSA Pre-check (funnily enough). During the inspection I pointed out to the TSA officer that these are specifically "TSA approved travel scissors" and a check with the supervisor confirmed these were okay to pass through. Having said that, I suggest always be prepared to have your pair of scissors confiscated - best to let it go without kicking up a fuss. As a backup or alternative - A nail clipper also works for snipping yarn in a pinch.

I was looking for a pair of scissors to fit in a 3" container and also sharp enough to cut tape. These did the trick. They are a bit stiff to unfold but a little squirt of WD40 loosed them up.

Sorry, but I expected more from FISKARS considering the brand and price. These are sharper, stronger, and better scissors than the all-metal folding ones. If you need a TSA-compliant pair for crafts or more cutting, these are probably your best choice. For general travel and carry, I'll stick to the metal folding ones.The biggest problem is the handle. It's cheap plastic that is difficult to fold and doesn't even lock flush in place. They feel like kindergarten scissors except for the blades.You will have to oil these before use. It helped the blades, but the handle is still very still.

The first one sent was defective, similar to what many reviews stated about being difficult to open and close, but the seller was quick to send me a replacement once I reported it and this second one works perfectly! Just as described and seen in the posting. Love how compact it is once folded up.

I had scissors seized at the airport, so I replaced them with these small scissors. I needed scissors to remove a bandage so I was upset at having the scissors seized. I read that we could have 4" (10 cm) from the pivot point, but that is not true. They can only be 2.4" (6 cm) from the pivot point to be allowed on carry on luggage. I like that they fold up so I am protected from the cutting edge too.Fiskars is good quality, the cutting edge is very sharp, and I could use it left handed for a bandage on my right hand. This is an excellent product that fits well in my purse for general first aid.
