Muela are from Spain, their knives are pretty solid, this was a haiku ^_^
:: MUELA RHINO 9M ::BLADE:-3.5” Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel has a high hardness (57-60HRC), excellent edge retention, high corrosion resistance, and apparently its easy to sharpen too for such a hard steel.-Only limitation is this 14C28N is not as tough, meaning don’t chop with it dummy. This kind of steel excels at slicing or cutting, but it not designed to take great impact like softer steels. Please don’t wack this with a hammer to split wood.-Blade stock is a meaty 4mm, increasing the knife’s utility for heavy duty cutting tasks.-Wide blade of 1.25” with a long primary bevel grind producing a thin, fine edge and a nice, fat belly for slicing or skinning.-Modified drop point design tapers on the spine towards the tip (on a clip point this is called a swedge), which increases this blade’s piercing capabilities and enables some precision work without the same risk of snapping the tip off as if it were a clip point.-Thumb jimping at base of spine for adding force, control, and assistance when making cuts or skinning game.HANDLE:-Contoured handle is ample enough at 4.5” and has a gripping area of 3.5” (not including the choil). If you include the choil the gripping area is 4.5” long and the total length of the handle becomes 5” long.-Handle is 0.83” wide at the palm.-Thick, ergonomic, and comfortable micarta scales provide enough texture for a good grip in inclement weather or when your palms get sweaty.-Red spacers. Hot damn.SHEATH:-Black welted (fold-over) leather sheath is made from well treated leather cut 2.8mm thick.-Sheath is for right hand, vertical carry only.-Belt loop is riveted to the back of the sheath and can accommodate belts up to 2.5” wide.-Red stitching accent is a nice touch.-Sheath sits great on waist and the knife feels more than secure with the fold-over button snap.-Total length when sheathed is approximately 8.5” long.CRITIQUE:-Could have used a bit more time buffing the pins down to sit flush with the scales. I can feel the sharp edges of the pins in my palm when I hold it.OVERALL:9.5/10 simply bc the pins feel a little unfinished in the hand

EXCELLENT. I LOVE THIS KNIFE.
Check out 'goldilock's' review. It excellently captures this knife - right down to one of it's only flaws IMO (you can barely feel the rivits in the handle - no big deal for me). I will say that Muela knives seem to have that 'flaw' on many of their knives (I have a few). Still love them.Otherwise, the only thing I don't care for about the knife is the sheath. While it is sexy, it only allows for vertical carry and the knife isn't held in tight when snapped shut. I can remove the knife easily without unsnapping it. So, I'm making my own sheath.I like Muela knives better than Benchmade (especially after that stuff about lack of 2nd Amendment support). That said, this knife and most Muela knives are significantly heavier than their Benchmade counterparts in my comparisons. I guess I just like 'euro-knives'. Boker can be excellent values as well.Love this knife. No regrets.
