KT Tape Skin Prep 2 Oz. Adhesive Spray (ULTRASTICK)

Bought this to use with swimming, on top of KT Tapes premiere water resistant synth tape. I do 4 laps, and the tape is peeling off. It may be good for other applications, but being as the advertised image shows a swimmer, and I was using this for swimming, I'm bummed the product didn't hold up. Caveat Emptor on the location of your tape and the application of this adhesive spray. If you do flip turns, and the injury is your foot, this will not help hold the tape.

This product failed to provide good adhesion for KT Tape on my knees. After running for only 2 miles and beginning to sweat, the Ultra Stick spray combined with perspiration created an oily slick that actually made the tape peel off very abruptly. (I shaved the hair and washed the area around my knee hours earlier.) KT Tape Extreme sticks pretty well on its own, but I needed extra adhesion for hotter temperatures and something that could stay on throughout a Triathlon. Very disappointed in this product and definitely a waste of money.

I purchased this product because I have carpal tunnel like symptoms, and, as hands tend to be extra sweaty, was recommended that I give this a try to get the KT Tape to stick better. I used it once and absolutely hate it. Its causes the tape to come off my hand immediately and I have thus wasted two strips of my KT Tape (which we all know isn't super cheap as it is). I will definitely be returning this product. The tape is better on its own.

Tried this because both cotton and synthetic were coming off within a day. Even with this "UltraStick" tape came off even before I was able to finish a lap in the pool.

I purchased this as needed KT for my foot/ankle for plantar fasciitis. Thought this would help ensure good adhesion and help to keep it on longer. Didn't do anything and the started loosening and rolling after less than a day! Tried with both regular and extra adhesive tape (only tried with KT brand).

I definitely see a difference between the extreme tape by itself and with the spray. I work at a pool and have it on for hours in the water while I’m teaching and it still stays on for a few days. Amazing product, the only downside is the application process, it would be much more useful as maybe an aerosol type of spray or maybe as a roll on stick? It’s just messy to spray it and then use your fingers to spread it and then your fingers get all sticky.

This did not work at all. I applied to my foot prior to taping, and the tape (also KT) didn’t last a day without peeling off, and started to peel immediately during shower or swimming. What a waste of money!

It really helps keep the tape in place so I always use it when taping my ankle/foot. It's very easy to get "over spray" so I learned to always use it in the bathroom with an old towel on the floor.

I find that it still has limitations with how long the tape stays on even with the spray. one day for me.

This product does not work. Used for skin prior to KT tape application for my plantar fasciitis; applied as instructed cleaned and waited for tackyness as directed just to feel...

Ease of use

Look for other than this product to buy. It doesn't stick!

Takes a while to dry and if you put it the KT tape on too soon, will just peel right off.

It works well, but not overly necessarily. It is really only oriented for the heavier duty tapes, so if you use a lower profile tape, it will stay the same either way.
