The Big Lebowski 20th Anniversary Gift Set

I got this set in yesterday. I don't really care about the Blu-ray as I don't even have a player. It's the accessories man that make you feel Polish Catholic or perhaps even a pederast with a marmot, but yeah, well, you know, that’s just, like, my opinion, man. Am I wrong?Keep in mind, this isn't an actual bowling ball and bag. Slightly smaller and just for like, decoration dude. I put the sweater on my stuffed animal cat Patches Lapjeskat (Youtube). I'm going to use the rug to decorate the hell out of my kitchen while I feed a stoner scrambled eggs. I'm going to use the bag for my camera so I can photograph a stranger in the Alps. The bowling ball I'm keeping in the bathroom for those special moments when I'm soaking in my tub.So just go find yourself a cash machine and buy this man! Even if you have to... well, heck, ya know... for a thousand dollars.

Well, It'll still make its way to my office/game room, but I expected too much. It was obvious from the pics that it the toys inside the box weren't going to be big, but this is very undude. I had hoped I could at least fit a real ball in the bag, but I guess if I ever do decide to roll, it won't be with this. It's not even big enough for a ringer. The sweater "wrapping" barely fits around the disk and is frayed at the collar. When I grabbed the ball (pencil holder?) I expected it to open so when people came over I'd be like "mind if I do a J?". Well it doesn't unscrew or pop open. Must be glued together in the middle because you can squeeze it anywhere and it will separate. Oh and that rug painted bowling ball cleaner? It's not big enough to clean my balls. The dude who designed this 20th YEAR LIMITED EDITION set definitely didn't abide.

If not for my own great affection for this movie, I most certainly couldn't have and/or wouldn't have self-justified spending too much coin on this item. While I'm not disappointed with what I got, at least not mostly, I also found myself not as impressed with the package as I would have hoped. The bowling bag is nice, and it nicely holds the other items, but it is really just a smallish display piece. Not that I expected to receive a real bowling bag, or a real sweater, or real carpet piece, but... the sweater doesn't actually have arm openings and is simply a slip over cover for the disc case. The bowling ball is an OK pencil holder, but when separated from the bag it tends to lose some of its identity and easier identification for potential fans. The box itself was a bit larger than I would hope which makes or could make it harder to store or display somewhere if you cared to keep the package together.On the plus side, the included (for me, in the version I had ordered) 4K Blu-ray included a code that was redeemable for a 4K streaming copy of the film. While I already had it in lower resolution (actually I had it in HD quality, but not 4K quality) streaming, I appreciated that I got the 4K copy with this purchase.The film itself is a definite classic. It may take a few viewings to grow on you, but it is definitely a great film that I love to watch repeatedly. The bonus features in the disc package are pretty cool. The price for the bundle is a bit more spendy than I think it should be, but I still love the movie and appreciate this package while not quite giving it 5 stars.

The movie speaks for itself and will until the end of time - or at least bowling, but when you put it in this packaging it made it worth it right away. Not only that but I was able to give the digital order to a friend - so it was a double win.

I wont describe the film except for that it's never looked or sounded better ever. If you want the best version of this film this 4k 20th anniversary 4k is a must. The package is perfect for the movie's theme, it is all of the highest quality except for the bowling ball pencil holder the plastic it feels like hard plastic but it looks good except for touching but you wouldn't touch it much if you use it as decoration or a pencil holder.

Pencil holder is pretty hokey, but the bag is a terrific little thing. They did a really amazing job updating this to 4k, all the imagery and cinematography... It genuinely enhanced the experience and took nothing away. If you can't abide another toe, you can abide this.

Loved the little sweater for the 4K blu Ray, I liked the rug. The bowling bag is pretty cool, and so is the bowling ball.10/10 this duderino abides.
