Ove Decors Tuva Bidet Toilet Built-in Tankless Elongated, Automatic Flushing, Heated Seat, Soft Close, ECO Mode with Remote Control

I have had this bidet+toilet for the last 2+1/2 months and for the first time integrated bidet experience, this is the best I have known. I compared them to others online through features and demo videos and I think the Kohler ones are great as well, but from the price point, this is priced way below those. One does have to spend a little time to find out the settings that work for them, but after that, it is really quick and easy.I also spent an hour's worth of plumbing charges to fix a simple leak on top of the installation charges that happened to be a manufacturing issue; the water tube to the back pump was lose and leaking, but am expecting a refund from the company for it.Everything is adjustable in terms of pressure, temperature and movement, hence the need to spend a little time to find your setting.Installation instructions could use some help. e.g. I found most plumbers uneducated to a great degree about how bidets work. First plumber, without even reading the manual, told us it needs a separate hot water line and said it can't work without a grounded power outlet. The grounded power outlet part is true, but every power outlet in the bathroom is grounded, so maybe he was just looking to get some unneeded work. I went through the manual and figured out in 5 minutes that it has inbuilt heaters for water and air and also has a battery slot if you need to use it without a power supply, so needing an extra hot water source was completely wrong. There are a couple of videos from the manufacturer on YouTube that should be linked here on this website; they describe the operation and installation as well.The tankless design makes it use 3 strong pumps in an interesting flush cycle, so you will need a power source, but the backup batter source should solve that problem somewhat.I don't know how well it is supposed to self clean, but I have to clean it much less frequently than the old style toilet.Overall, a really good purchase.

Complete remodel of our master bathroom and researched smart toilets. After much research we decided to try the Ove Decors Tuva. ABSOLUTELY love it! Installation was easy other than having to add an electrical outlet. Very easy to use, works awesome. Flushes toilet paper just fine but truly we no longer use toilet paper as it does just fine without it. (We initially had an issue with the water pressure but only because the valve was not completely open - after opening it, no issues at all). We have decided to purchase a 2nd one for our main floor as we are now only using the Ove Tuva for #2. Purchased the 1st on in 2016 and the 2nd one in 2018! As of April 2nd 2024 both still work AMAZING!

Overall the toilet has some design flaws. The flow of the water when flushing doesn't clean the back side of the toilet.

I bought this toilet and another similar model. Both has issues, the remote on this toilet never works the flush system came cracked and I can't find replacement parts anywhere the only option I have that's working on this toilet is the flush button on the side that allows you to flush in the event that the power is off. The other one is flushing, the seat warmer and blower works but nothing else works. It's now flushing automatically 10 seconds after you get up and I never turned on that feature and don't know how to turn it off. The installation was difficult as the booklet has minimal instructions and my plumber didn't have a clue so I basically walked him through it even though I didn't know what to do. In my opinion anyone purchasing these units is going to get a 6 for a 9. And Amazon should look into this and compensate persons with full refund who's purchased these units because they're shit. Looks nice and they're a conversation piece but it's crap and should be discontinued. I am highly disappointed in Amazon for carrying units as defective as these.

We had the unfortunate idea to use these in the two bathrooms we renovated.Beautiful units until they break (which happens a lot apparently?). Then they are plain frustrating.The units clog extremely easily only a few months after purchase: consistently. We are talking habitual clogs and blockages. If you enjoy your routine including pumping a toilet, trying to replace parts and fail to have an enjoyable experience, this should be your first pick.

The media could not be loaded. The device is functional, but very noisy. During a flush it makes 3 times (!) very loud banging sound - so loud that I am afraid that my neighbors in multi-unit condo building will complain. Or my wife will wake up if I use it in the middle of the night. You can play the video that I attached and hear it yourself. My plumber installed the "hammer arrestor" device on the intake water pipe, but it did not help at all. I consider it is a design defect and thinking about returning the toilet.
