I purchased the exact same phone case in 2020 for my father. I purchased a replacement case in May of 2025. It has protected the phone against drops and wear and tear. The phone itself looks brand new because the case did its job. Perfect fit for a iPhone XR. By the time this case starts failing, it will be time for a new phone.

We got a reasonably priced one. This one when I bought it was$17.98. Really protects the cell phone! It does fit. But it is a tight fit had to fight it a little to get one cell phone. This one fits my husband’s and if I need one my IPhone 10R. This one is all black. Replaced his other Otter case but it was old. It is one big case not pieces put together. Very smooth case. It does not fall out of your hand stays there. My husband thought could buy a case for this phone at Walmart I had to explain older models of cell phone the cases are only on Amazon. Could not take a picture. My husband is using his phone now. If you want the best for the screen use a liquid nano product also sold on Amazon!

This case provides good phone protection while not being too bulky or heavy. The lip over the edge of the screen is high enough to protect the screen from cracks when I drop it. The edges are a bit rubbery, so it has a bit of grip.

This is probably the 3rd or 4th iteration of the Commuter case that I’ve bought as I’ve needed to upgrade phones. The case itself remain consistent with the reasons I’ve used them in the past, which can be boiled down to slim design and solid drop protection (whether dropped on face or back).This said, due to the increased size and weight of the iPhone XR in comparison to my previous iPhone 7, I’ve found the usability of the phone with this case to be a little more difficult. Again, this is due to the phone, not the case itself. But the back of this case is a hard plastic, and so the grip is not that great. As such, I’ve seemed to have more drops, particularly when attempting one-handed operation (which frankly this phone does not lend itself to, even with my medium-large hands).This said, the case does what it’s advertised to do, which is protect the phone from drops. I’ve had multiple waist-high drops on the driveway, including a couple face-down, and the phone is unscathed.I have purchased a competing case to see if the grip works any better for me. Again, the issue has much more to do with the weight/balance of the phone and not the case. So, I can definitely recommend this case, but do wish it had better grip properties, which would have earned it a 5-star rating.

I ordered this case for my husband's phone. It was delivered on time, and in great condition. The case fits his phone, and he no longer worries about shattering the phone, in case he drops it.I am a current user of OtterBox Protective Covers, and I know they back their products because my original cover was damaged, I took a photo, sent it to OtterBox...ZIP, a new one appeared in my mailbox, and I didn't have to pay a single cent.GREAT JOB & A GREAT COMPANY!!!!

Before ai bought this, I had ordered a different case from another manufacturer. It was slippery and hard to hold. This is a much better case and worth the money. I still use an iPhone10R and was glad to see that this case was available. I have used Otterbox cases in the past to protect my iPads. Excellent product.

I bought this case for my phone and it lasted the entire duration of my phones life. It fit perfect and was comfortable. Many times I dropped my phone and had no worries that anything would ever break. Would highly recommend
