SylglasSYLWT506 Original Waterproofing Tape - 75mm x 4m

I first used this tape back in the 60’s, so when I had a leak on a strap boss onto a soil pipe, I bought some more, and it’s still just as messy, just as sticky, and still does the job.

Same as another reviewer on here, Foghorn, l also used this tape in the sixties when l was a glazers mate. We were working on a run of leaking glazing bars which covered a walkway in the University College Hospital, Gower Street, London, can’t believe that was 60 years ago!It is messy to use so l use an old pair of scissors which l sharpen before use and a Stanley knife with a bottle of turps on standby, l also use disposable gloves (the pair supplied with the tape were far too small for me and l would imagine for a lot of other blokes as well) it’s imperative that the surface you’re repairing is dry and grease free, but with a little care you can do a long lasting repair with this Sylglas tape. Recommended. This came directly from the manufacturer and was delivered within 48 hrs although l was given a 4 day time slot. 👍🏻

Great conservatory roof sealant. Super sticky, but exposed surface eventually dries. Have used it previously on boats to seal glands.

This is real old school , very easy to work with, but you need gloves, or the wax will stay on your hands for ages, I ran out of my old pack, it was 25 years old, still as good as the new pack I just bought . Great stuff

this stuff is fantastic!! i actually use it on my car.. i have waterproofed a windscreen with this stuff & a vinyl hood, it never drys out, ive passed it on to my bro, my mechanic.. i always have some in stock, just incase !!

very useful and easy to use.

I have used Sylglas tape for years. This particular application was to seal and waterproof a cracked rooftile. The repair has been effective and can be left in place over the winter.
