Got this as an early Holiday gift for a friend who recently had hip surgery (and writes books about dinosaurs.) She absolutely loved it. The handle of the cane is cut perfectly to fit the hand and the intricate carving is gorgeous. It also feels really solid in your hand. The rubber cap at the bottom of the shaft is studded to give a little more traction. Love it so much I bought a second one for myself. They also used like 20 stamps on the package which was hilarious to me. I should also point out the packaging showed enough care to make it from the Ukraine to the US without a single blemish on two separate orders. A note that these do come from the Ukraine so shipping to the US is rather slow, but entirely worth the wait. Whether you use it or hang it in a display case it is a stunning piece of art.

I just got this cane today and it is wonderful. There are nice cheaper options out there, but if you appreciate fine carving the way I do, then don’t settle for less. The head is covered by realistic scales at varying sizes. Scaling goes all the way down the neck. And there’s even scaling on one side of the handle, all exquisitely done. In sunlight, the eyes are bright green with a vertical black slit that is extremely realistic. But with some indoor lights, the eyes are almost clear (no color), still with the black slit. How did they do this?A lanyard is included so that you won’t drop this exquisite beauty on the cement.And don’t forget, the money goes to artisans in Ukraine. Bravo Ukraine!

Awesome quality. Feels comfortable for long periods of time. I use everyday last two months and no issues. Be prepared for all the attention this cane attracts. Worth the longer delivery time…

I have just recently acquired a need for the use of a cane. While the need for a cane is nothing to be ashamed of and I can use any cane to help me maintain my balance when walking, I prefer to use a cane that is a showstopper, and this is indeed that.From its rich and vibrant finish to its craftsmanship, both in woodwork and artistically, this cane makes a statement. YOU make a statement by using it. The cane in general is light weight but solid, if that makes sense. You can feel its quality when you use it.I have started a collection, 3 from another vendor and this one so far. When I am ready for another, it shall definitely be a GC-Artis. I highly recommend without reservation.

My dad needed his first cane. He was resistant to getting one. This one in unique and very sturdy. It fits his hand well and is also a conversation piece. Well worth the price

I just started using a walking stick a little this one is most comfortable and evokes comments about good workmanship wherever I go. Next, I would like to get a “Fred Astaire “ walking stick, black with crystal head. Anyone know where?
