Sturdy good heater
Superb sturdy heater producing gentle heat for my polytunnel. The tomatoes are still fruiting with the heat, fan and grow lights.

I don't use it as a greenhouse heater
Simple construction that comes apart easily. Reliability in an unpleasant environment more important than anything else. Probably does what it was designed for but I don't use it for that. After 3 months it started making odd noises (starts and stops anything between a couple of minutes and a few seconds in my application). Thought it was the motor bearings so put one drop of oil on each bearing. Fan spun smoothly before I did that and was silky smooth afterwards; if there's any plastic in the bearings then this is the beginning of the end for this unit. Found out shortly afterwards that it was the nut holding the fan onto its plastic support that was the problem. It had come undone and since there's no flat on the motor shaft it was awkward to do it up again. However having done the job all is very well. Price drop signifies a "new and improved" model is coming but the current one is good enough for me.

I don't like the fan staying on all the apart from that it seems ok.
Dislike fan on all the time.

Robust 2kW heater
Here in Lancashire the growing season seems to be a fortnight in July. To make sure that my cucmbers and tomatoes are mature enough to produce fruit from the rare sunbeams, I start them early in a little heated propagator.A problem arises at this time of year (March) - the plants are getting too big for the propagator - and space in the prtopagator is needed for other varieties - but my greenhouse is not frost-proof and Bad Things can happen to the delicate young plants.I bought this to keep the frost off. It's pleasingly solid and very simple. There's a switch for fan only / 1 kW / 2kW and a thermostat (not calibrated).I also bought one of these: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08K8R7XY9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and stuck its probe into one of the plant pots, setting the "on" temperature to 9 degrees C, and the "off" temperature to 11 degrees. It controls the heater.I have the heater set to full power, thermostat at maximum. If the temperature of the soil in the pot creeps below 9 degrees, the fan heater warms the plants up. So far the set-up is functioning really well and the cucmbers and tomatoes look healthy.Despite this being advertised as a greenhouse heater, I think it's prudent to connect it to the mains via an RCD. If you don't have one, RCD adapters are inexpensive. I always seem to have a lot of water sloshing around my greenhouse and an RCD gives me some peace of mind. There are much cheaper fan heaters, intended for use indoors. I think that this, having a tough, earthed, metal case is far more suitable.

Doesn't work as expected. Just a rogue item or not?
Thermostat appears not to work as the fan is permanently on (for fan only plus the two heat settings) even though the thermostat can be clearly heard to click (to 'off') as it is turned down. Have emailed supplier and am awaiting their response. Hopefully they will exchange as product looks ok, albeit somewhat noisy but will do in a greenhouse / conservatory.

Ok
Heat good when it gets going but blows out cold air instead of shutting off when reaches temp which is pointless

Does the job
Difficult to set up because you need to be there at the desired temperature to set the thermostat (and it may be in middle of night) Once set up it is working fine. Would be better if fan went off too when not heating. Have to manually turn fan off when heater isn't necessary.

Keeping my plants alive right now.
Easy to install, very straightforward and although I thought I would only use this overnight during the coldest nights I’ve found myself using it when I’m in the greenhouse to keep me toasty too. Not having electricity installed I bought a waterproof extension lead and both are working great together. Very happy with my purchase. Arrived on time and well-packaged.
