7.4V 4000mAh 50C 2S RC LiPo Battery Hardcase with Deans Plug for Tamiya TT01 RC Truck Car Losi Slash Buggy Team Associated (2 Packs)

I bought these batteries for my older Tamiya RC cars that were designed to use rounded stick packs. These fit perfectly like the old NiMh packs back then but with the added capacity and lighter weight. I also own round packs of 4200 and 5000 mAh capacities but they are a tad longer and thicker so they do not fit well. I cycled both batteries (discharged to 3.4 volts/cell, charged to 4.22 volts/cell) on my iCharger 406 Duo and the capacity is a little more than indicated on the label, around 4100 mah, which is good. Internal resistance, which is 3.8 & 4.0 milliOhms are quite good for sport packs. Internal resistance on my round LiHV lipo racing packs are under 3 mOhms but they cost about 3-4 times as much. For about $20 each, it’s hard to find a better value battery for non-racing use.

I've been searching for a lipo stick pack for my vintage and re-release Tamiya kits, and stumbled upon these at the perfect time. I read the reviews and saw that there was only one pair left, so I punched out and waited anxiously to see if I had made the right choice. I received both packs in perfect condition with a 50% storage charge on them and near perfect cell voltage matching. I gave them a fit check in my M-04, CC-01, and Lunchbox and could not have been happier. They drop right in and the dead-center wiring fit well around the battery holders. No modifications required. I charged them both and was pleasantly pleased with the performance and run time. I hope they get more of these in stock as I would like to grab another set as my fleet grows. Thanks to those that recommended them for Tamiya kits. They were the real deal!

You have to have a round edge 2s to add lipo battery’s to a kyosho surfer and these fit great ran good

Bought these to run in my Clodbuster as it needs the wiring to be centered like a NiMh pack. They pack good punch and run for a good 25-30 minutes easy. Highly recommend these

The batteries are as advertised. Overall, for the cost they are good. Could last a little bit longer based on them being a 4000 unit.

Fit my tamiya grasshopper perfectly

Being in the RC hobby for over 30 years, these packs are perfect in my old Tamiya cars and trucks. The also are perfect in my re-release Kyosho Turbo Scorpion and Javelin. For me they would have been even better with xt60 battery connectors, but that wasn't a big deal, 5 minutes worth of soldering and they were perfect.

Both of these batteries were immediately put on the charger upon arrival and they both were far below storage voltage. I am getting them charged to the appropriate level and I will update this review with some more information. I have my doubts because the batteries could already be damaged.
