Shockingly bright and very portable
I received this product for free in exchange for my fair review.Okay, so I want to start with the negatives. It's a bit small for use with anything other than a cell phone. In it's regular white-light mode (using the white diffuser or no diffuser), it's got a very slightly pinkish hue. And the buttons are just a tiny bit hard to press - you actually have to push them in a bit past the "click" point. That's it. And all that stuff is actually 100% fine, and I'll explain why. Let's get into it.First, this little guy is BRIGHT for its size. The light doesn't penetrate far into legit darkness (you're not gonna shoot perfect pictures at midnight), but if you're in a situation where normally you'd end up with darkish selfies or if you're just plain looking to highlight the foreground a little, this is exactly the right tool. In fact, it's bright enough that I have taken to using it on its lowest or second-lowest setting - anything higher lights up the foreground more than I like.Second, it's rechargeable and that's fantastic. The majority of small LEDs built for camera-top mounting use batteries, and they demolish batteries quickly. I leave this plugged in overnight (I don't actually know how long it takes to charge from zero, I've never run out of power) and I'm good to go.As I mentioned before, it's a little small for anything more than cell phone use. But it seems to be MEANT for cell phone use, so... That's fine? I dunno, I use it with my Beastgrip for social media selfies and videos, and it mounts just fine and lights up everything I need it to - if I need a bigger light, I use a bigger light, this thing isn't MEANT to be a replacement for big lights. It's FANTASTIC for selfies. Also, it's super duper portable. It's about the size of a quick-release plate, which is really small - there's nowhere I can't take this, it'll never be in the way, it'll never be too much, it can go in any pocket/bag/pouch/etc and that's great. The pinkish hue is likely a result of very slightly overcorrecting for the greenish hue that white LEDs take on after heavy use. So, in the grand scheme, it's probably going to even out to being true white, and until it does that the biggest downside is that it makes food and skin look more vibrant than they really are. Further, the orange and blue filters accurately warm or cool the color temperature in a fairly natural way. They look pretty extreme, but if you've ever used photo/video gels before, you'll find these work exactly as expected. The button-pressing thing is my "biggest" gripe - I want buttons to be responsive, so when I feel the click I want that to be 100% for sure a confirmed button press. With this, I find that I have to kind of over-press it, which is extra annoying to me because I have big hands and big stupid fingers. The buttons are very small, so I actually have to use my thumbnails, which, that's uncomfortable to press hard on your nail. But, I would rather that than have it get bumped against in my pocket or camera bag. I wish it was easier to hit buttons because there will probably be some point at which I want to adjust the intensity quickly, but whatever. The last thing I want to mention is the little indicator on the back that shows the charge level. I've used maybe half a dozen small LEDs similar to this, so I'm far from the "mini LED expert" or anything, but only two of the ones I've used had this type of indicator. I really appreciate it, I think anyone would - who wants to get caught with no power unexpectedly? But yeah, thanks for that, it's a good touch.Oh, right, also, the part that clamps onto your phone, that part is a little weak. I think it's fine for everyday use for most people, but I personally use it with the coldshoe mount or I screw the thread into one of the many holes on my Beastgrip. It's not in any way inconvenient to me.Overall, it's super solid, I'm very surprised. I was skeptical when I was contacted about it, I don't have high expectations of anything anyone is willing to give me for "free", but I put this thing on my little phone mount setup and I haven't taken it off. It's bright, it has plenty of battery power, it legitimately enhances my selfie game, and I'm already a big fan of it.I recommend picking one up!

Won't Work From iPhone Without Tripod
I was super excited to get this to film my short form content with and photos on a night out, but sadly it isn't great unless you have a handheld tripod or someone holding it from behind. Since it clips on the side of the phone you can only take landscape content, for portrait mode it will only light one side.

Missing a few items
Just had this delivered. The light itself feels sturdy and heavy. It def is bright. But there is dimming that it won’t blow you out. It has a battery indicator which will give you idea of life left at each brightness level. The hue is color changeable in the light. What’s missing however is it says it comes with a phone clamp, color lenses(which really isn’t needed with hue change in the light itself), and a 1/4 to 1/4 screw. It only has 1/4 to shoe. The box the light came in however matches the content that it came with. The description here isn’t accurate and the package was poor as the light box inside the Amazon box was open and contents just flying around inside the Amazon box.

Incredible deal!
The amount of light produced at this price point is fantastic, first and foremost. If you're looking for an ultra-brigh, ultra-portable light source, this is the one!Barely wider than the width of my Pixel 2 XL, this light is the best solution you can have for additional light on the go. Although it could be a key light as well. There are 8 levels of brightness that i could notice, but that gives you a huge range, and at the brightest point it's definitely usable as a key light.Out of the box, mine was fully charged, and I like that a tap of the power button shows the battery level, so you don't have to play a guessing game with how much light you have left. The filters it comes with are useful, especially if you want to match the temperature of other lighting you have available. The 1/4-20 adapters for a cold-shoe connection and for another 1/4-20 connection are all metal which means you won't be breaking them with continuous use. I dig that it comes with a phone holder which has 3 1/4-20 holes for mounting the light and mounting on a tripod, so if you're a cell-phone shooter this is great to have.I'm adding this to my bag for every trip, no question. Super highly recommended.

Super Versatile and great battery life
I bought the light to use to help with proper lighting for my youtube videos I am very happy to report that this light works very well, It has several settings for the light level, and the battery lasts surprising longer then I thought it would. It has a couple different mounting options, a double sided mounting screw as well as a coldshoe mount, in the configuration I am currently using I have it mounted via the included phone clip, with that screwed to the bottom of the another phone holder since I use an external microphone that uses a coldshoe mount as well, this works well until can get a bar with with an additional coldshoe mount. The Diffusers work well though I feel the amber one makes the lighting just a tad too warm but that is personal tasteOverall I think the light is a fantastic piece to add to any photo / or recording kit.
