Bought the ring expander and compressor combo to complete a re-ring job on my Briggs and Stratton L head 5HP engine. Wow both tools worked great without a hitch! Nice that these were sold as a combo package!

For limited use, not bad... got the job done. Pliers are perhaps lifetime use. One thing, perhaps just me, but be careful putting too much hand pressure on the compressor. The metal is very thin and quasi razor blade(ish). I slipped once and cut down my finger pretty far. Latex gloves won’t help.
