Its A Lot Of Cable For The Price
One of the best upgrades we can do as audio enthusiasts, audiophiles, etc. is to simply upgrade the cable. That is the case here for me with my Drop Hifiman HE-400XX planers. The imaging from planar magnetic headphones is something everyone should experience at some point in their life. Its a very moving, moody, accurate sound leaning slightly on the warm side. Ive never heard miss reproduced like planar magnetics are capable of. I can literally drift off in to the music experiencing very little note and nuance the composer intended. Fascinating in a way that make them truly incomparable to anything close. Yes of course there are various grades of headphones with varying price points as well. The concept however, is the same. Planar magnetic drivers mix some of the operating principles between dynamic and electrostatic drivers. In a planar magnetic setup, the part that actually creates sound is an electrostatic-style thin, flexible material sandwiched between the outer layers of the mechanism. But like a dynamic driver, that diaphragm contains extremely thin wires with electrical current flowing through it, which regulates its back-and-forth vibration. On to the NEO MUSICA upgrade cable...its a real winner. The material is perfect, the leads are very well produced providing an even better sound than the stock cable. In order to notice this however, you will have to lived with the stock cable for a while so you can draw the comparison. Everything is just so much more "alive" is how I would put it. The details are not so that it does not work hi or low, it just works better. The sound is more engaging and coherent leading to a dramatic listen no matter what the content. In its simplest terms, hi-res audio tends to refer to music files that have a higher sampling frequency and/or bit depth than CD, which is specified at 16-bit/44.1kHz. Sampling frequency (or sample rate) refers to the number of times samples of the signal are taken per second during the analogue-to-digital conversion process. The more bits there are, the more accurately the signal can be measured in the first instance, so going 16bit to 24bit can deliver a noticeable leap in quality. Hi-res audio files usually use a sampling frequency of 96kHz or 192kHz at 24bit. You can also have 88.2kHz and 176.4kHz files too.I just love getting lost in the whole of it. My mind is peaceful. There is also a certain peacefulness in knowing you are not literally missing a beat! This cable provides sonic bliss for those looking to achieve that. For others, there may be no justification in a "better" cable. Like I mentioned earlier, to really appreciate the sonic qualities living with the stock cable for at lease 3 to 6 months is best. It is then that you can draw your own comparisons between the two. Enjoy!

It works!
About the seller:Hoo sweet, that was fast! A++ and thank you!About the product:I have a Symphonic Wrath 2.0 that I got for cheap. Sure enough like others who own a Symphonic the cable broke and a replacement cable costs more than the headset itself. Since I didn't need the tiny microphone dongle I went with this item.It has clear labels for left and right ear (L and R), the main cable is short but braided (I like that, because I already have a 3.5mm extender because there's no way any headphone cable is going to reach behind the computer) and the top of the Y split the earbud cables are coated in rubber. It also came with a 3.5mm to 6.5mm adapter, and though that's nice I already have a million of them via guitar accessories.Obviously don't believe these reviews, but I'm happy enough to find a replacement cable and have it delivered so quickly I figured I should write one to show my appreciation. Thank you!

Good, but check it'll work with your headphones
This seems like a decently-made cable for the money, although only time will tell how durable it is. be aware, however, that not all 2.5mm plugs are made equal. The cable works fine with my Audioquest Nighthawks, but the 2.5mm plugs are about a mm too short to work with my E-MU Teak headphones -- they don't quite fit deep enough to make a proper connection so there's no sound from the headphones. Unfortunately the plugs also have a metal body so there's no way to trim it down at all to lengthen the shaft. FYI, shaft length of the 2.5mm plugs (from tip to the silver plug body) is 11mm

i can use my HE4XX again
I started having issues with these phones 6 months after purchase and I was hoping that the fix is quick and cheap. enter the neomusica cable. I no longer have the issue of the sound cutting on and off (although there are still other inherent qc issues with these headphones but mine is not an isolated incident). I was starting to have buyer's remorse when I got the HE4XX but for another $17, I was able to have some peace of mind again (I just wished I got these headphones for the price they're offering now). i really enjoyed the sound of this MD variant so was willing to invest a bit more to get it properly working again (cables arrived just in time to do some comparative listening with the Senn 58X that i received a few days ago).i don't recall if i misread the product description but i think NEOMUSICA mentioned that the 3.5 mm is the one that fits the HE4XX. if that's the case, then please update both product sites to avoid confusion (i bought the 3.5s initially based purely on amazon's site description and didn't double check against the MD site).

Bad quality don't purchase
This item is terrible. Where the headphones split off to right/left you will start to hear crackling if you use this cable for any reasonable amount of time. Went to crap after that don't buy.

Better cable than what came on my HiFiman HE400S Headphones.
HiFiman HE400S headphones are outstanding but the cable is too long, too stiff, and after about a year I sometimes started dropping channels if I moved my head. I was still in warranty so I contacted the seller who is an authorized dealer and they handed me off to the HiFiman customer service. This was an intermittent problem that I couldn't duplicate which is always the worst case ( we used to say the hardest thing to fix is something that isn't broken ). The customer support person asked me to do a bunch of tests and I said screw it I'm going to try a cheap fix and if it doesn't work I'll buy new cans. Well, it worked great. They sound better than ever now. This cable is of the length, flexibility, and diameter that the original cable should have been. A lot of high end headphones have lousy cables and some actually fall for the hype and spend hundreds or even thousands for custom cables. You've got to be kidding me. These are fine. There is no scientific evidence that silver cables or any of the geometries make an audible difference.
