These Gorilla grip rugs are great. I have them in my bathroom, and in my bedroom next to my bed. The chenille fabric feels soft and cozy under my feet and toes, similar to walking on a flokati rug. Flokati is a long fiber rug made in Greece from the wool of long haired sheep there, and is prized for its luxurious look and feel. It is also expensive. These chenille rugs are very affordable, are washable and have a non slip backing which gives them their name. They are available in a great many colors. So far I've not noticed any shedding, but I'm about to give the ones in the bathroom their first laundering,as they see a lot of traffic. I'll give an update in the near future.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is an excellent rug and I have purchased three now, in various shapes and sizes. One in the kitchen, one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom claimed by the cats. They hold up well, wash well, and amazingly did not have that horrid smell that often comes with new rugs. That most likely implies higher quality materials. They also don't take days and days to lose the wrinkles that come with being rolled up or folded when delivered. These straightened right out! If they had ever come out with even larger sizes I will certainly buy more. Best rug ever.

Beige color was more cool taupe than warm beige, but it is OK. I did notice that this is not as cushy to my feet as the previous chenille type bath rug that I purchased (but I don't remember the brand of that one). But it is important to me to be able to purchase matching bath rugs and a toilet lid cover that matches.

I recently purchased the Gorilla Grip Bath Rug Mat, and it has exceeded my expectations. The rug is incredibly soft and plush, providing a comfortable feel underfoot. We chose this rug to go near an area with lots of wet feet (and paws) coming in. Its a nice neutral grey, sits well on the floor without rolling up or folding, and is soft, think, and absorbent. Exactly what it's description says it is, and exactly what we wanted. Only flaw is that its apparently so comfy one of our cats has chosen it as his new lounging area.

I bought 3 of these rugs for my beautifully remodeled bathroom. I could have found this toilet rug for a lot less $25. I’m usually the only one who uses my bathroom. Yet somehow, this toilet rug will not stay put. Every time I sit on the toilet, the rug has scooted its way about 1-2” away from the base. I slide it back in place, only to find it out of place a few hours later. The corners of vanity rug & the long one outside the shower either flip up or slide away from cabinet. The rugs themselves are very nice. But not non-slip or “absorbent” in the true sense of the word. When standing on the shower rug, you can drip all you want. However, check underneath to see the water now puddling on your floors.Beautiful rugs but they do not function, as advertised. Certainly not what I would expect of the Gorilla brand.

I had a mat that wouldn't stay in place and didn't absorb water coming out of the shower. This mat checks all the desired boxes and the color blue is rich and wonderful.

Got the "cloud" color sz 17x24. The plush part is kind of sparse, you can see some of the fabric under it. Many less tufts than my old blue bathmat that I wanted to replace. Hopefully photo for comparison shows up. Mat arrived tightly folded and has creases. Instructions included say to wash to get the crease out. I didn't want to try and if find out the hard way that the crease stayed and then I can't return it. As other reviews say, the cloud color does have a green tint or something. It's kind of an off light gray, almost a taupe ish. I do like the color and it worked with the bathroom decor, but the quality of this rug - the sparse plush parts and the creases - are making me send it back and shop in store instead.
