Olympia U.S.A. 8 Pocket Rolling Duffel Bag, Red, 29 inch

I got two of these bags for global travel, and they are better than I expected! They meet the airline checked bag size requirements, and you don't lose a lot of your weight allocation to bulky materials or unnecessary bag structure. The roller wheels work great, the handle works great, and the fabric of the bag is holding up well. I like that the inside is just one giant space, and I have found I can pack an outrageous bunch of stuff in there. The pockets all over the outside are good for smaller, random items. The zippers work pretty well, though on one of the bags, the main zipper is kind of sticky, so you have to zip it a certain way. Still works fine. These bags are easy to spot at the airport. When they are empty, they fold down easily for stowing under your bed or in a closet. Bottom line: this is a very affordable, giant bag for travel, and it does its job well!

hello,this rolling duffel is very roomy and easy to transport, even when full of a week's worth of clothing. it is very well made, but care must be taken when rolling it as the material will drag rounding corners or going up a ramp. the material is not plastic and can shred open if rubbed against the concrete flooring. if it is not overstuffed, it will not hit the ground. the carry strap can also be used to cart the bag on its wheels. the outside pockets are always handy for maps, batteries, chargers, zip lock baggies, etc. but, it is 29 inches long and very roomy. sometimes, it took up a lot of space in the trunk. overall, it is a great piece of luggage, very roomy, and very handy. there needs to be a 24 inch version for weekenders.

I needed luggage that does not take up a lot of space when empty, but is still easy to travel with. This rolling duffel fits that bill totally. The bag is sturdy yet folds to 3" thickness when empty. The pockets lay flat on the side so they don't easily catch behind things. The wheels roll smooth, the handle extends in three locking positions and what I really like is the grip on the bottom so it's easy to lift. The material seems sturdy, so far the bag survived 4 airplane trips (as checked luggage) without noticeable wear. I you pack correctly (heavy stuff on the bottom) the bag does not tip over when upright. Note that the 29" hold about the same as an expanded 25" suitcase, it's very roomy. Great buy.

I purchased the bag for work purposes, not really traveling (buses, ships, planes and trains), so I can't really give my opinion based on traveling. I can say, I like the size (29") and all the pockets. There's more than enough pockets, which I'm a huge fan of the saying, "it's better to have and not need, than to need and not have". The all around sturdiness seems okay, the zippers moves smooth, straps seems legit, but I've been wheeling it more than carrying it, which is great for me. I would recommend this bag to others. I gave it 4 stars because it's not as bright red as I thought it would be, based off the advertised picture displayed.

I LOVE this duffel bag. It has survived 2 vacations so far and TSA inspections.UPDATE: has survived 11 vacations including cross country flights and road trips. Wheels still roll, no rips, the handle doesn't hold itself up but it still works just fine.Love all the pockets and how deep it is. Able to easily fit 4 days worth of clothes for 2 people/unders/shampoo/soaps/hygiene products/lady hair appliances/etc.UPDATE: we now have 2 kids. Able to fit 4 days of everyone's belongs (items listed above) with using luggage organizers (excluding misc baby items: formula and diapers in another bag).The bright color made it easy to spot at baggage claim. Seemed black and teal were popular colors at baggage claim....

Great for my camping trips. Plenty of room and lots of zippers to hold anything I need. Excellent quality. When I go camping, this thing takes a beating and still looks brand new! My son has a smaller version that has lasted for two years. Because we had such good luck with his, I got one for me and I am happy with it. (Plus the red color is awesome)

This looks so beat up after 1 year.Received as a gift for Christmas . I read reviews and requestedthis oneBig mistake! Used it right after Christmas and 1 other trip. Looks like it's on its last leg. The handle is awful!! Had a Nautica one I bought for 29.99 and had it for 12 years. Wish I hadn't given it away.

I got this bag for a karate equipment bag. It has plenty of room and rolls quite easily, however, it is bottom heavy, so it continuously falls over and doesn't stand upright. That is very aggravating to me and causes a problem storing it with equipment in it. It needs to have a strap of some sort so that the items being stored in it can be weighted evenly throughout the bag. I would probably not choose this for my purpose again, but otherwise its a well made bag.
