Mindful Chair Yoga Card Deck

The cards Are thin which is ok but the box is cheaply made as well. Kind of hard to keep them protected for use on a consistent basis. The box ripped after trying to put them back in after looking at them. I like the cards. Going to keep.

These are easy yoga cards with large pictures. I use them to do chair yoga sessions. I wish there were more products like this. Most of the cards cost more and too complex. I need a visional reminder which means large pictures and simple text. I can read a yoga book if I wanted more than that. My two cents.

This is a great resource for chair-based yoga! Most people probably don't realize what an effective practice (for body and mind) that you can get while seated. I use it primarily with students and teachers in the school setting, where chair-based yoga fits into the school day more easily than rolling out mats. My kids and I used them in the airport while flying over the holidays. For those who are excited to learn more, I highly recommend the online video course, "Chair Yoga for Educators and Clinicians," from the same authors as this card deck. Bonus- I appreciate the variety of ages, races, and body types depicted in the photos!

Bought this deck to help me remember the poses I was learning in class and to have as a kind of “coach on paper” while traveling. The size (approx. 5” x 7”) is very handy plus large enough to read easily and I like that each card is a separate pose. ( I pulled out the cards for the 8 or so poses in my routine and keep them in my gym bag.) Explanations and photos are clear, nice variety of poses from beginner to more advanced and I especially like that the models span a spectrum of age, ethnicity and body type.

I have been using these for planning parts of my yoga classes. There are so many good ideas! I bought the Kindle version first & did not like how the cards got split in weird places on the Kindle pages. The cards are a little thin, but I really like having them in card format.

I am 81 and never done yoga but decided you were never too old. I have back and neck problems as you do as you age. I picked out three cards to start with...Gentle Backbend, Side Leaning Stretches and Seated Twist. I was baking the other day and my back ached from standing. I stopped and did these three and my pain was relieved. I do this on a regular basis and as needed and am getting relief. Thank you Little Flower Yoga.

I'm glad I purchased the Chair Yoga Card deck. I use these practices whenever and wherever I feel the need to move in my cubicle at my workplace. The breathing and focus aspects of the deck really come in handy on those days when work is stressful and overwhelming. Thank you.

I LOVE these cards. But I HATE seeing children demonstrate the poses. I am an adult. I need to feel this is an adult set of cards. Actually, I would much rather have seen ONE MODEL demonstrate all the poses. I would love the option of selecting cards without the children. Thanks for making a great set of Yoga cards.

I do love yoga card sets as it just makes finding inspirations sometimes easier than having books on the floor or with several marker points in. These are great as the only one I could find for chair yoga. They portray many ages and abilities with the cards which I personally think is lovely. So many books just show the able body young lady doing poses and these show older men with the average body type doing the exercises as well as kids. I know some write they found this off putting, I really can’t think why? The poses are displayed well enough no matter who is showing them. Handy little set for my brain needs a bit of inspiration for my chair yoga class.
