The item is very well built. Feels solid and tough enough to take a little beating. Worked perfectly right out of the box. I powered it using a TackLife jump-start which conveniently came with a cigarette lighter shaped adaptor. It shuts off when it reaches your chosen PSI, I pumped to 35 starting at 20 and it adds a little extra air to compensate for the little loss when you detach from the tire). Took about 5 mins, so if starting from 0 I can predict probably 10mins, but still okay if you're nowhere near a gas station. The buttons feel strong and reliable. The air tube felt rather hot after doing 2 tires so it's probably wise to let it cool down in between if doing several tires. I did find it a bit loud, not deafening, but the neighbors will certainly hear it..but not a problem as I don't exactly need to pump daily. Also, due to vibration, it does move around a bit and I placed a rubber mat underneath to reduce this. Some types come with rubber soles, I suppose for that reason, but certainly doesn't affect functioning. The cable that's supposed to plug into the cigarette lighter doesn't seem long enough for the farthest tires so a cigarette lighter extension cable may be handy. Also, the compartment at the bottom for stashing away the cable is a bit of a tight fit and doesn't have a cover,some other models have a cover.Overall, an excellent product for the price.

This product gets 5 stars!! My wife tried it and what I didn't know was that she had overinflated her front tires. The tire inflator has gauge built and as a safety mechanism will not allow you to add more air to the tire if its overinflated. So, this is very good for her. It's easy to use and put away. It also comes with a carrying case for easy storage and also additional accessories to inflate other things.

The 12v cigarette plug adapter has a cord approximately 9 feet long which is plenty of room to reach any of the tires. Takes only a couple minutes to fill a completely deflated tire. Comes with an extra fuse and several adaptors.

Lightweight, sleek designed product that works great. I like the screw on pump, which in my opinion is much better than the snap on type pump. Great pump to have in your trunk in case of an emergency!

Believe me I was in love with this when I received it. An air tire inflator that auto shuts off when it reaches the desired psi. I love the design of this model and the compact size of it BUT this air inflator is too light. In the beginning I was happy that it was light but due to this being so light it moves everywhere when it is putting air in the tire. I really wasnt looking forward to holding this product for the entire moment but it appeared I had no choice. Keeping it on the ground will end up with this being scratched up from it moving everywhere. Most likely I will return this because I was looking for an air inflator that can stay STILL on the ground NOT me holding it for up to 5 minutes. Honestly if you dont mind holding this product in your hand I would say purchase this as no other flaw was found for this product.

Pros:1. Inflation speed and function are great2. I really like the serpentine storage design for the inflation tubeCons:1. The main issue I have is that while the pump is running the vibration is so great that the entire pump chassis shatters causing the unit to skim around on the ground. This doesn't affect the inflating function, but I find it somewhat irritating as I'd like it to stay put while in use.2. I find the storage compartment for the power cable to be a bit awkward. I feel like I have to carefully coax the cable and plug back into perfect placement in the odd two-chamber compartment to get it all to fit back in again flush. In the field or in the dark, I don't want to have to fuss with details like that.3. I don't like the placement of the digital readout on the side of the unit. That's not a location where my eyes can easily read during use. While the pump is in use my head is above the unit, so I think that's where the readout should be naturally located.4. This is minor, but the S.O.S. function in the light seems rather useless. If I'm on the side of the road inflating a flat tire, I don't need to blink S.O.S. to oncoming cars. I'd much rather have the ability to flash a warning light of some kind for greater visibility.Design flaws aside, this is a solid performing tire inflator. I just didn't find some of the small usability cons to my liking, and given so many similarly-priced tire inflators from which to choose I returned this model in favor of another option with digital readout on the top, more stability during use, has a more convenient storage area (with a door) for the power cable, and offers a blinking red/white warning light for visibility. I probably would have been happy enough keeping this unit based on utility alone, but it was worth it to me to keep looking for another unit that addressed my usability concerns.
