We used these umbrellas for our wedding because it rained. They looked beautiful in photos, were large enough, sturdy, great quality. Perfect for a wedding and for photos!

Light, perfect for events as well as seasonal uses. I am a professional event decor specialist and product quality is very important. These were used for a centerpiece and they came out perfect.

I used Rustoleum spray paint for an all over base coat. easy to twirl the umbrella to make ombre swirls of color. Allow at least 24 hours to allow time to let it set, off gas, etc. I closed my samples up after 12 hours and they stuck to themselves and pulled off paint when I opened them. Easy enough to respray and cover that up. I also used Apple Barrel paints to add designs, such as clouds, geometric patterns, sunsets, storms, flowers. I also sewed on artificial flowers. I don't think they would protect from rain when I was through, but hanging from the rafters in our outdoor Covid worship space, they looked spectacular. They are withstanding strong winds in our wind tunnel very well. Zip ties on the handles, and 50 lb. fishline from the ribs were used for the installation so the wind couldn't whip them around.

Bought these when it was clearly going to rain on my daughter’s wedding day. They were a fun photo prop before the rain began, and a very useful item to protect guests between the buffet tent and the party tent. But they were breaking by the end of the day.

When I learned it was going to rain on our courthouse marriage date, I bought these on a whim. They were very sweet in the photos.

Inexpensive, quick to ship insurance for the possibility of rain. They won't be needed for long, as there is a pavillion and a large tent, so ability to handle a lot of wind was not a big deal to me. These do NOT appear hefty enough for a bad storm! One of the umbrellas has stains all over it, unfortunately looking like blood/rust. It does not come off with water. I will be ordering more and opening each umbrella prior to wedding to check for stains and broken ribs.

I bought these umbrellas after seeing a good chance of rain in the forecast on our wedding day. My hope was that By purchasing these umbrellas I would jinx it and suddenly the weather would clear for our ceremony. The truth is, these umbrellas won’t do that for you, but they will keep you dry and make your wedding photos dreamy. At least it was worth the money spent. I found the umbrellas to be pretty sturdy and of decent quality for the price paid!
