I bought this one ... before the price went up and lordddddd this helps out alot! me and my daughter use it ,its not the best smelling shampoo but your hair scalp will love you ! I wash my hair with this first then use my reg shampoo and conditioner after to help with the weird smell this shampoo has. Keep in Mind this shampoo is super strong one lil move your eyes will BRUNNNNNNN like ALOT make sure if your using it or kids have them keep their eyes closed. By the next day you wont have flakes or ichy scalp.

I used to use this for a dry scalp as needed and it was great. Now I have allergy issues that cause crazy scalp itching. I searched a long time to find this again. It does make your scalp tingle and has a strong tar smell while applying it, but doesn't smell after. It is still a great product even if much more expensive now. I just ordered a 2nd bottle.

Yes anyone who has used this product knows it doesn't. Smell good. But that's not the purpose of it. I have awful eczema. Nothing ever works but Denorex. I treat my beard mustache and scalp with this in the shower. And then apply CarMax on my effected areas. If I do this every other day. My face tends to survive the winters

After a few uses, the itch has almost gone away. Need a few more applications.

Be careful when purchasing Denorex - as they have 2 varieties. One has Salicylic acid - only good for removing flakes. But THIS one - with MenTar AND Menthol controls Both flaking And itch. Pricing on this item has increased from $7 per bottle to $12 in just 6 months - so I did stock up. I have been using this for years after discovering its superiority to any other after many trials. I also found this version of Denorex far superior to those containing Selenium sulfide (such as Selsun). YMMV

The “coal tar” version of Denorex is the ONLY thing that has ever worked on my scalp psoriasis (even over prescription oils and such). My psoriasis was in “remission” for many years, and just started flaring up (stress/immune related), and I couldn’t find the “therapeutic“ kind (the coal-tar formula). ANYWAY, this is it. Smells the same, works great. My only complaint is the price.

I’ve used this shampoo before and loved it. It has been one of the few shampoos I am able to use to really control my psoriasis. I was happy to see it was listed under subscribe n save so went with it. Sadly my first order came a few days late and my second order was delayed weeks then my third order was taken off due to no longer available. The shampoo does burn the scalp which means it is working. The flakes are controlled for days after use. If you have thick hair or lots of hair you may need to apply extra shampoo as it Originally comes out not so thick...your hair sucks/absorbs up the shampoo quick.
