Overall, I like this camera. It has a few GREAT features, a lot of good ones, and a few that I can deal with.GREAT - The IR sensors are barely noticeable. For anyone putting this into a kids room at night, this is huge! Its also very small so it can be quite easily hidden inside or outside for security.GOOD - The images I posted show the same shot a nursery with full light, pitch black night vision, and pitch black (you can see the light under the door). The last picture is an outdoor shot as I wanted this also to see anyone wandering our backyard. At a distance, I doubt you could face recognizing at night, but up close you almost definitely could. The app on this one is much better than most. There are a few extra options and the UI doesnt seem so clunky.OK - The mounting for this is just alright. It comes with a magnet and a ball and socket. It also is sticky so you can stick it just about anywhere you want. However, I was unable to place this high and have it look down. I wanted it on a shelf to look down into the room. The way the mounting works, it cant look below horizontal without mounting upside down. I tried this and it was ok at best. The cord was heavy enough that it weighed the camera and moved the picture. Also the picture orientation is 45° offset from the cord which was odd and made it so the mount HAD to be used.Lastly, this camera has the same issue that EVERY other wifi camera has in that it wont set up on a Google phone. Until someone figures out that issue, I cant give any of these a 5 star rating.

I purchased one of these last month to try out; that model worked great. Manages sunlight / artificial light / night time wonderfully. I purchased 3 more this month and all 3 have issue with color quality. Regardless of which room, what type of lighting (natural daylight through the window, LED daylight intensity light bulbs indoor, or incandescent 60W bulbs) they all have a red/purple discoloration to the photos. My black t-shirt shows up as purple, and the other colors are faded. I attached 2 photos, one with lights off, and direct sunlight coming through the window (darker image); the other photo is with the kitchen lights turned on (brighter / washed out) image. I called Amazon support, we went through one troubleshooting step - factory reset. I played around with the brightness/contrast settings in the app; regardless everything is red / purple discoloration.

Camera - Build and Video QualityThe camera itself is of high quality manufacturing, and is about 1" inch square which lends itself well to unobtrusive mounting. The microUSB power adapter has a right angle plug to allow for more mounting options such as within an enclosure. The picture and video quality was good, options for 480p and 1080p. Still pictures, captured video and live video are all high quality for the size of the camera and are what I was expecting.Mounting Accessories and OptionsThe camera came with a plethora of mounting attachments, which made it very flexible to position in just about any area you would like. I particularly like the steel ball mount, which allows for most angles and easy adjustment.Instructions and setupWritten instructions are pretty good, I had little trouble getting the camera set up. The easiest method for attaching to wireless turned out to be the audio method, which is the first time I've ever used that kind of setup technique.Mobile applicationiSmartViewPro is a pretty good app, it has all the right functions even though it lacks a little polish. My main concern is that while viewing the camera, if your phone screen turned off upon returning to the app the live video picture would be frozen. I had to close and reopen the app to get a live view again, which is not too bad as the app opens quickly.

I purchased this cam because I needed one with RTSP streaming. This cam has RTSP. Actually it has 2 streams, one for 1080 and one for 720. However, the picture quality is crappy (a lot of artifacts when picture is moving), it's quite laggy (2-5 seconds) and the colors are WAY OFF.Now it could be just my cam, but everything was purple-ish. I tried to adjust the color settings (cam runs its own web server with controls), but could not achieve anything close to colors that matched the reality.Small side comment: the cam runs rather hot when streaming.So if you need an RTSP enabled cam (that dubs as a heater) and you don't care about colors - this is the one for you :)
