Pretty good for an outdated book
My grandson loves facts. He read a 1992 Children's Almanac literally to pieces (he was born in 2000). After getting tired of arguing outdated facts I resolved to get him an update. Unfortunately 2008 was the most recent I could find but he enjoys it and is discovering a new set of outdated facts that we can argue about and research. I wish there were an updated version of this one, but it is holding up well so far under his intense reading.

Great for kids and adults to read along
I got this for my nephew for Christmas. He loves it. Very interesting and short facts that he can read at his own pace. Mom loves reading with him as well. Takes it with him, even to school, and when he has a few "free" minutes, he pulls it out and reads. He skips around which is another plus. Does not have to be read like a book

Great little book of fun facts
I've gotten this book for my children for the past several years, but my husband and I read it as well. Easy enough for younger children to read, but interesting for all ages. It has some fun and interesting facts that we end up quoting.
