Chums Original Cotton Safety Eyewear Retaine-Unisex Keeper for Sunglasses-Adjustable Fit & Made in USA (Standard-End Size)

I bought these to hold my glasses on my head while I ride crazy roller coasters with my crazy kids. They've held my glasses on through entry single ride I've done, from 400 foot vertical drops to flying suspended like Superman at 50 m.p.h., my glasses stay with me, no doubt. Some say they're hard to install, but they're just made to hang onto the earpieces well. My sons pair is hard to get on, but they also don't come off, and he's a pretty active little guy. I also love that I can adjust the tension easily with the rubber ball on the back. Just be careful when you adjust said tension, since if you're not holding the ball and the tail securely, you'll knock your fist to your head and yank your glasses into your eyeballs, making strange and wonderful patterns of facial secretions on the insides of the lenses. But I'd never want this to be any looser, or things wouldn't be so secure. Love my Chums, they're totally worth it if you want your glasses held while you're being crazy.

First time buying this brand. At first I was a little disappointed because when they first they arrived they would not slide on the ear pieces of my black frame "Blues Brothers" Ray-Ban Wayfarer frames of my eyeglasses. So I looked them over and couldn't find any defects in workmanship the stitching that I could see was actually very nicely done with the correct thread and correct upper/lower machine tension. So I gently slid the ends that go over the ear pieces over a hard plastic toothbrush handle almost the same size as the Wayfarer frame just a little smaller. When I slid each side over the plastic handle I noticed that what was stopping them from going on was glue inside of the openings which is not a big deal in fact it shows me the manufacturer is not afraid to use enough glue for the job. So now I clean my wayfarers with lemon pledge like I always have and wipe them clean. The retainer went onto the ear pieces perfectly not too tight not too loose just right the second try. So far they feel pretty good they keep my eyeglasses from falling off my face leaning down, they work great on a motorcycle, and I think they are going to do the job just fine for me. I would like to see if they have a design similar to another brand I have used in the past because I like the craftsmanship and quality of the retainer. Thank you very much.

Chums have saved my glasses more times than I can count. I love being able to just pop my glasses off my head and let them hang on my neck when I am riding, running, climbing, slacking, or anything outside. Using Chums has saved me from losing my expensive pairs of glasses over the years. Seriously, it is much easier to keep track of your glasses when they have a leash attached to them. See, you CAN have nice things!

I’m 75, and I try not to go out any more than I have to during the pandemic. But, I do have to make runs to Costco, the grocery store, etc., and I have not found a way to keep my glasses from fogging up when wearing a face mask. I’ve tried everything; nothing works for me and it drives me nuts. So, I decided to give this a try. I need glasses when I drive, but inside a store I can get by without them. When I go into a public place, I put on a face mask and hang my glasses around my neck with the Chums retainer. If I need the glasses to see or read something, it’s a simple matter to put them on for a minute, do what I need to do, then take them off again. The Chums retainer holds my glasses securely and has solved my biggest complaint about having to wear a face mask. I love it!

I am a dental hygienist and spend most of my day looking down into someone's mouth. It's hot and sweaty work even with air conditioning. I've had to apologize for my eyeglasses sliding off my face and nearly hitting a patient more times than I'd like to admit. These completely solved the problem! They are soft and comfortable behind my ears even while also having a mask stretched around them. I absolutely love them and I can't work without them. Highly recommend these!

The only reason I'm writing this review is to dispel the stray reviews below that suggest this strap only fits thin/wire frame glasses. They are mistaken. I bought this for my Nike Brazen sunglasses...go look at a picture of those shades (yes, they sell them on Amazon) and you'll see that they have thick frames. A little patience is required to thread the Chums onto them, but that is the way they are designed to work. They hold the frames firmly, and you can remove the Chums and put them back on easily at any time (again, once you understand that it takes a few seconds to slowly thread them onto the frames). Aside from that, they're cheap and function as expected.

I have the original Ray Ban 2140 Wayfarers and these fit just fine. Like others have said, they are very tight going on but with a little extra effort and patience they actually fit better than the large version. I now have Black Lrg., EV Blue Lrg. And this EV Green Orig. If you have wayfarer sunglasses go with the original size and thanks to the other reviewers who said they would fit because they do and they are thinner behind the ear on the earpiece than the large version. I love them.

These Chums fit my New Wayfarers just fine. They require some patience slowly shimmying along the arms. Take your time. You could always use some hair spray to smooth things along and creates a tacky surface when dry. Very comfy and the extra padding soaks some sweat and help keep them on my face. Very secure.

Lost a pair of brand new sunglasses while sailing last summer, so found these to keep the glasses on my head when out on the lake.I had one of these about 30 years ago that lasted forever through hours and hours of windsurfing sessions, so I knew what I was getting for my money.Only negative is the opening is quite tight for modern sunglasses earpiece width, making them a bit hard to slip on. It does the advantage that it won't slip off once it's in place though, which helps balance out the inconvenience.

El producto es bueno, cumple con su función pero después de un tiempo de uso lastima un poco detrás de las orejas, quizás depende de la profundidad con que se inserte la varilla de los lentes además de esto presentan decoloración con el uso en un tiempo de más o menos 2 semanas empezó a ser aparente la decoloración pasando de un tono negro a un tono café.
