World Smallest IP/Wifi camera Ai-ball 2 in 1 (with Power supply Cradle and Camera)

Does it work? yes it does, but if anyone going to use this portable cam plz take time before buy.Pro:This portable cam is work, have 2 main feature for using as table top with the stand and removable for carry. Material is pretty reasonable like regular webcam, plastic.*Con:1) This cam is reasonable quality, but not as high resolution compare real webcam build in laptop or external webcam.2) The main feature about cam is portable part which is strong point about it and also weak point about it, Why? i guess most people who buy this because we all think it portable carrying, however this cam require using batteries while using as portable, which is pretty hard to find in supermarket (In my case) and drain very fast around 1 hr maximum. So if plan to use portable we taking about 1 hr maximum before require to replace new batteries.3) This cam need to use it's official website in order to watch or use and it require to connect to the Wifi cam in order to access and watch.4) The setting is pretty hard to set up, In order to using this cam both with stand or portable require user to connect cam wifi (When turn on, cam will act like Internet router, releasing Wifi that user need to connect before use), after spent a lot of dig in setup menu, nothing will change except name and after setup password for more privacy I can't log in and end up have to remove password in order to use it because can't connect.5) take time to reboot every time it turn on, around 5 mins before you can search the wifi6) "VERY IMPORTANT" i don't know will it improve or not, all extra programs is not working, so what do i mean? the basic feature like cam is working but after going to website they will have option like "motion detector" or "sound detector" which require user to extra purchase which not work for my case and the app on smartphone is not working, so basically avoid it, so you can save $4 or $5 because it not working (i use Samsung Galaxy S6 and i can't ever watch by app, you need to access it by chrome or safari, so app is not a shortcut)7) If you plan to use as security or oversea or other stuff, its require you to subscribe to server on something that " Yes you need to pay more", so why do you need ? this cam as say before is like router so the range is probably about 3 - 7 m (don't know exactly number let put it like your internet router) if you aim to watching from office or oversea it won't work except if you set it to its 3 feature mode (router, directly = router, by wifi) and as i have told the setting is very no easy and get it to work is harder (simple put, factory setup is easier to use, don't mess up with setting)Last about this portable cam, this cam is ok for it purpose of making it (it work with default setup), minimum quality (like 90% zoom movie), portable (for 1 hr if you dont attach to power stand). Do i suggest?.......no commend, if i have to compare, something like GoPro will much better, let say if you aim to use like normal people, it ok but there are thousand of cam out there that is better, if you aim for something more than normal people use (dont need to explain right ^3^ ) it is not worth it, hard to setup, run only 1 hr, not to mention it releasing wifi that anyone can search for it, so if anyone think for using if for different purpose like "oh it smal i can hid therel" or "it portable i can watch my ______ at office if ______ or not" this is not what you looking for (Man! i feel so bad explaining, but i explain this not because i use it for those type of thing but to to fully review the product), it's easily to detect (just pop up your phone and seach Wifi), short range (3 - 7m), drain battery (1 hr max), difical to setup (dont add password).That is all i can help, if anyone still want to try it, i suggest check on internet first, read review, check your mobile app store if you going to use it on smartphone and that is all hope it help

It works well quality is not bad. Would have been nice if the battery was rechargable, and if you could hard wire to the USB and use as a regular web cam, but it works well enough.

First off I would like to say that this unit should be discontinued all together because of the lack of quality control. I opened up the box moments after the postman delivered it and tested the signal strength and found it loses signal completely after 6' or less without any interference or obstacles to affect it. After messing with it for a few weeks, trying to set it up on my existing wireless network wich requires an update, I found out this seller has sold me an old or refurbished unit with a outdated, non updatable firmware for double what the manufacturer sells a new one with up to date firmware for. Im not sure if the firmware update adresses the range and lack of being able to connect to an existing network or not. If you are adement about having one of these units I would suggest purchasing straight from the manufacturer's website. go to thumbdrive . com
