She can stand-alone, sit up or pose in many ways. Her long thick hair is wigged rather than rooted which better maintains its style, tangles less and provides hours of hairstyling fun. She also has pierced ears for even more fashion fun (earrings sold separately). Her all-vinyl body is easy to wipe clean should she ever get dirty. African American doll
This doll looks nothing like the one pictured here. She does not look like a child of mixed heritage but rather totally African. She is beautiful and well made which is why I gave her 3 stars but the skin is too dark. If you are looking for one that is lighter as the picture indicates you should probably look for a Hispanic doll. We were VERY disappointed. The real doll is so dark that her beautiful eyes almost do not show up and the doll in the photo it does. Do not know if this was done with computer magic or lighting but unless you are looking for very dark ethnic for your little girl or collector in the family, do not purchase this. If you are looking for that then this is a great choice for you because it truly is beautiful and it is all vinyl AND jointed.
