Good deal.
This little EQ works great for my DJ setup. I like having the left and right channels, and all the functions of this eq work perfectly.

Affordable professional equalizer intended for PA or recording use, but works great in a home audio system!
This is a piece of professional audio equipment, so you won't find any of the RCA-style audio jacks on the back. But if you buy slightly-higher priced XLR-to-RCA cables (two male XLR to male RCA, and two female XLR to male RCA cables), it makes an outstanding addition to a home audio system. Note that the 1/4-inch TIP jacks on the back are for connecting to balanced audio systems used in PA systems, so do use the XLR connectors if you want to connect it to a home system.15 audio bands may sound like overkill, but it is very useful if you need to tweak your system to a room's acoustics! And all controls are duplicated on each channel, allowing you to adjust each channel separately. And unlike the blue LEDs on some models that are so bright they can blind you in a dark room, the channel level controls have red LEDs that are bright enough to see in normal room light but not nearly as bright. Take the time to read the manual: this device has some cool features. My only very minor complaint is that the rack mount brackets are not removable. Doing so exposes the circuitry inside, so don't do it! It should come with cover plates that can be bolted on in place of the rack mount brackets if you don't need them. Like I said, a very minor complaint that shouldn't deter you from purchasing it! I've been using mine for two months in my home audio system, and it is noise free, which is important when hooking it to a high-powered amplifier (a Carver M-1.0t).

Zero complaints. Does what it's supposed to, and I don't notice any additional noise or distortion.
Behringer stuff can be hit or miss, but this one seems like a winner to me. Does everything it's supposed to in a compact, decent looking package. Good flexibility in setup with switching options and filters. Doesn't add any extra hiss or distortion that I can detect. This is one of the good ones.

Average build
I always here mixed things about behringer. Purist say don't bother , you will want an upgrade that last for gigs etc. It's just not the finest stuff on the market, comparable tech on the inside , but the build is plasticy as hell. This however features a slim metal case that I actually like. I even like the lights on the levers. Yet after one use . One of the lights at the end of my levers BROKE. Now it flickers and it annoys me. I mean one use..... they are delicate . Too delicate . So despite the eq working and even doing a pretty good job for my chain, I find it to be too flimsy for rugged and or regular use of eqing. If they improved the durability of these levers or went with some kind of metal that would seem like a better choice.I have multiple behringer products including one of my favorite budget pedals the sf300 , but this didn't do it for me unfortunately. And if you have major OCD you have Been warned

Behringer is great - solved a hum problem!
I replaced a stereo 15-band eq which I suspected was causing some hum when onlynusing my high-end Pro-ject turntable. Odd. I use XLR cables. But this solved my hum problem! This equalizer is EXTREMELY quiet and hum-free! Very quiet and hum free!Tip: if you don’t want to see all of the red LED lights on all of the 15 x 2 channels sliders, just enable the FBQ (feedback check) button on each channel. If you’re using this unit as I am in a home audio rig, you’ll never deal with feedback issues. So using this button simply will turn off the LEDs on all of the EQ sliders. Cool!Anyway, truly excellent, quiet, and hum-free EQ! I recommend it!
