Another lovely offering from the visionary world of C. Roehm. Do be aware this is not as much of a grand gorgeous pictorial as most of her other books, meaning don't expect the amazing photographs of interiors and gardens. It's more of a "cookbook on steroids" You still have lovely photography - just not as grand as we're used to in her other books. And more outdoors than in. At first look I thought I was going to be a little disappointed but after settling back for a good look, it was just as inspiring as those others.

I love this book! There are many beautiful photos of gorgeous floral arrangements amid lovely table settings as well as ideas for more casual events, like a picnic. Suggested menues and recipes for special occasions are included. I'll never have access to the flower market in Paris, nor all the variety of china and crystal the author enjoys, but her ideas have inspired some lovely arrangements on my own table. If you love to entertain with flair, or just like to look at pretty pictures and dream of living that sumptuous lifestyle, you will love this book!

This is a nice book. I would not buy again or give as a gift. Sometimes I think her name sells itself so you have to be sure before you buy.

After all the accolades are dispensed concerning the beautiful photographyand magnificent tablescapes, it still is imperative to note that AT HOMEWITH CAROLYNE ROEHM is a valuable resource tool for anyone who has a passionfor entertaining. I return to this book time after time for inspiration.The ideas translate well to a diverse range of budgets.I count this book as Carolyne Roehm's best publication.

A glorious book filled with some wonderful photography and showing some very nice set tables set with antique porcelain, silver flatware and first quality crystal. This is how exceedingly rich people with the highest taste live, stemware that costs over £200 per glass is what I would call exceedingly rich as to have a dozen, plus spares and in different sizes and not be too bothered if one or two got broken to me, is in the rich mans world.However, most of the table settings are easily adaptable to lesser pockets and with flair can look just as spectacular and therefore this book offers infinite style concepts to copy, so all in all, this is a wonderful book to drool over with a long coffee.

Love the book, useful recipes, beautiful pictures but disappointed in the length of time it took to arrive. I thought I was ordering from a UK book shop but it obviously was shipped from America.
