I got this book because I wanted original, authentic piano pieces that had not been simplified, but were not too difficult for my Level 1-2 piano students to play. This book is great! The difficulty level is relatively "easy" in comparison to pieces by Beethoven lol - but that is a given, because it is geared for Level 2 piano students.I think this book is a great start for students who want to get into classical music. I love how there are little challenge sections on each song like "Transpose this piece to G Position" because it enhances the student's critical thinking skills + reinforces theory! There are more levels of this book too, which is awesome.

Beginner piano lessons. Very good for student beginning piano studies.

I just started getting into this book and love it. Especially if you have a taste for classical music, this amazing little book includes simple pieces for the beginner, including an old man like me, that are remarkably sophisticated. It is both challenging and satisfying for what it has to teach.

GOOD

I was glad to find this series. Good arrangements in all 3 books help to provide a great intro to playing classical piano. I do feel some arrangements are better than others and prefer Level 1 and 2 over the Prep. Students enjoy using these books.
