Very good spice
I really enjoy this spice! It is unique and goes well with many types of foods. The packaging is appealing to look at and durable, and this brand seems to be of good quality.

Has some heat
I haven’t tried it yet, other than a sample in a teaspoon. Love the flavors and it does have some heat. Can’t wait to try it on some pork tenderloin.

Very tasty...
I was introduced to this many years ago via Trader Joe's branded pasta seasoning with the exact same ingredients. When they stopped selling it, I was disappointed, but several years later, I found Spice Hunter Pasta Seasoning with onion, garlic, basil, lemon peel, paprika, fennel, oregano, black pepper, ginger, thyme, and lemon oil. It's a nice addition to pasta sauces and stews... Although, I have been putting herbs de Provence in my stews lately... For my herbs de Provence blend, I use basil, fennel, lavender, marjoram, oregano, thyme, sage, and savory. I bought some of those elements on Amazon. This Pasta Seasoning still has a place with Italian pasta dishes... It is wonderful.

Lotsa flavor!!
Absolutely love this seasoning!!! So tasty! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the cover was broken when I got it. Thankfully I had another jar to put it in.

EXCELLENT
I have a Thai peanut chicken recipe I like from Sandra Lee's crockpot/slow cooker cookbook. I purchased it in a thrift shop, an someone wrote in their version of Thai seasoning, which has worked well. I moved, and things are still in a mess. I ordered this because it was convenient, and will continue to use it. If you like heat, you may want to add some red pepper, but I thought it was great. I'm a mild person. It gave flavor without the unwanted heat. I'm going to continue to use it, rather than making my own.

Savory and not too spicy.
This unique blend of herbs and spices is perfect for someone who enjoys just a bit of heat but still wants the flavor of a great mix of herbs. A welcome alternative to so many Mexican spice mixes that all taste about the same.

Salt free is wonderful.
Imitates going to an authentic Mexican cafe for great Mexican dishes.

Salt Free Curry With Prodigious Clove Notes
I like Indian food and love curry. The Spice Hunter Indian Hot Curry blend is a utilitarian take on a classic. It gets kudos for being salt free, but despite its name I don't find it particularly hot, and I typically find myself adding far more of this brand than in dishes compared to other curry blends I have. It has a pleasant combination of flavors that's useful on rice or potatoes (and probably just about any other starch you can think of), and I like it in soup and on meat as well (I have used it extensively on chicken and fish). It does have a different balance of flavors than most other curry I have tried, which is particularly notable when smelling it outright. I normally detect the turmeric, cumin, and peppers in curry first, but here there is a very prominent smell and taste of the clove component. I am not a huge fan of cloves, which probably goes a long way to defining why I like this spice but don't love it. As an aside, the bottle does not come with a shaker top, so be prepared with a measuring spoon.I will continue to use this curry, but I doubt I will buy it again. It's a bit blander than most hot curry I have experienced, and while it is pleasant, it's also nothing exceptional. This might be a way to introduce curry to people not used to it, though a better choice would likely be a mild curry in that scenario. I don't regret trying this, and since flavor preferences are very individualistic, by all means buy it if you like it; if you like cloves and some of the other aromatics that are more defined than usual in this blend you will be very satisfied.
