Excellent Quality Earbuds
I purchased a pair of Chisana C1 earbuds earlier this year and have liked them so much I returned to order another pair to keep in bike bag. That's when I saw they'd updated to this newer model the C1N, which is identical except for having a longer Bluetooth range. This pair arrived a week ago and I've used them every day.RangeThey are just as awesome as the C1 model except the range is noticeably greater, although as expected, nowhere near 66ft - which is only a theoretical maximum distance claim of the generic Bluetooth spec for this power level. That theoretical distance assumes ideal conditions of no obstructions, no interference etc (likely achievable only on the dark side of the moon). I've found that good Bluetooth devices should reach around half their "ideal" distance in actual use. My original Chisana C1 pair are rated for 33ft and get about 12-15 ft (assuming no walls in between). Likewise, the C1N seem to get about 25-30 feet. So, they pass the range test very well.Sound QualityThe audio quality is excellent and they pair right up with my Samsung S9+ working well with my music player (PowerAmp), podcast player, phone app, voice recorder and, of course, Google Assistant. Button commands work great. A single press on either the left or right earbud's button will toggle pause. A double press on the right advances one song and on the left goes back one song. Three presses launches Google Assistant. Making incoming and outgoing calls works fine for an in-ear unit like this. I also have a high-end ($120) Plantronics Bluetooth headset that's made solely for phone calls and not music. That headset is heavier and much larger, wrapping entirely around the outside of the ear, with a boom extending forward toward the mouth. It is mono only, has 5 microphones for tuned ambient noise-cancellation and is the highest-rated model by most professional reviewers.Compared to a headset like that I don't expect an in-ear earbud like the C1N to be the same level of quality when it comes to the microphone input of my voice and, as expected, it's not. I would say the C1 and C1N are about as good as can be expected in such a small unit tucked solely in your ear. It works fine for phone calls if you're in a relatively quiet environment (ie no wind noise). I've taken a few calls from family and friends when riding my bike outdoors on the trails and even in that more challenging environment the caller can hear and understand me. So the C1N works for the occasional unexpected call while rocking to your tunes or casts. If I'm expecting an important work call I would switch to the Plantronics headset on which callers can't even tell I'm not on a landline when I'm driving in my car (I have HD Voice activated on my line which exceeds the typical POTS bandwidth of 3khz).FeaturesThe reason I chose the Chisana C1 and C1N is the unique feature set. After a long search, these are the only earbuds I found that has this combination of advanced capabilities: Bluetooth 5.0, small size, Qi-enabled wireless charging and bi-directional charging so I can use it to recharge other devices in a pinch. So far, both models have delivered on all promised features. The size and weight are ideal and I've also tested the water resistance by using them in the shower nearly daily (note: they are not waterproof so I don't dunk them or expose them directly to a jet of water but they handle occasional secondary splatters of water without issue).A few notes: If you are using wireless in-ear earbuds and aren't hearing the bass you expect, the issue is likely that the earbuds aren't seated properly in your ear. Try planting them differently by twisting and/or pushing deeper. If that doesn't work try changing the rubber earcups for a different size. It comes with three interchangeable sizes. If your phone or app isn't responding to the button presses be aware that different phone manufacturers sometimes implement the standards in slightly different ways. Look online for a guide for your brand or model phone. Also, apps can choose to respond in different ways to presses, so be sure to try different apps before assuming the issue is the earbuds.

These completely lost range after a few months.
After a few months of light use, these almost completely lost range. I need to be within a foot or so for them not to cut in and out. Sometimes if I hold both buttons and/or reinstall them on the devices I use I can get them to work for a while (e few feet farther). I even did a hard reset with no luck. I emailed the manufacturer and they replied quickly. They asked for my order number which I promptly sent, and that's the last I've ever heard from them. Terrible customer service, just terrible. I'm in the market for new ones (obviously) but steering way clear of this company. It's a shame because as I indicated, I was very happy with the sound quality, battery life, and noise cancellation when they worked. Best to steer clear of Chisana (and I think they sell buds under different names as well)

FRUSTRATED!!! Very disappointed!!
First of all!! It took 22 tries to PAIR WITH CHISANA!! Now I can only hear music through the ear buds NO PHONE CALLS, NO YOUTUBE, NO GAMES, NO HULU,NO NETFLIX , NO NOTHING but music APPS. Now I'm just frustrated because it took me 22 tries to get this far. Yes I EVENTUALLY got the red and blue light JUST NO CHISANA C1 to pair with. I'll put them away till tomorrow, when my patience has returned. Maybe I will achieve the impossible and get these things to work. But only because of my sheer determination not to have any technology best me. WOMAN OVER MACHINE!! But when and if I finally do get them to work. I will be returning these. I know for a fact that it shouldn't take this many hours and effort to pair two little ear buds even at the price I paid for them!! I don't recommend these ear buds try another brand. If you don't have much money don't waste it on these little buggers. I truly was looking forward for these to work out for me. They did arrive earlier than expected. But they don't work properly. I can't get these to pair with my phone or tablet or smart T.V.!!!! MY SON CAME TO MY RESCUE WITH MONSTER EARBUDS. THEY CONNECTED IMMEDIATELY!!

Absolutely LOVE these earbuds!
I have had several pairs of earbuds over the years and these are by far the BEST all the way around. Firstly, the cost was so low as to make me think they wouldn't be much good. I was wrong. They could NOT be easier to use. They pair all on their own right out of the case. I didn't have to do a thing. Just put them in my ears and they paired to my smartphone immediately. The battery life is very good. I listened to them almost an entire day and only used about one fourth of the battery stored. They disconnect when taken out of my ears and automatically begin to charge when placed in the case. I can't think of a single thing I would change about these earbuds. The price is great, the sound is great, the usability is great! What's not to like! I highly recommend these earbuds!

Fantastic sound; comfortable to wear.
These have a different sound than Apple's airpods, perhaps because of the noise cancellation. I don't favor one over the other except for the price. The main difference for me is you have to push on the earbud in order to turn off the sound compared to airpods pausing when you take one from your ear. Just an adjustment in my habits. The only fault I found with these is the wire which connects to the charging case was a little weak and the wiring underneath became exposed after a short time. I just wrapped it in electrical tape. It still works perfectly; the glitch is just in how it looks. Definitely worth the money to get these. They are excellent quality and sound.

Great Deal
Theses just popped up on my home page one day and I read the advertisement and decided to give them a try. I normally like earbuds that hook around my ear so I won't always be worried about them falling out, but these are great. They come with three different sizes for the earbud and I find that the small works best for me. They pair really quickly right out of the case, and the sound quality is very good. I'm still learning the limits of the battery life as they only lasted three hours the first time I used them but I don't think I had them charged to 100%. Still, they are well worth it at the incredible price I paid for them.
